The company annual dinner held during lunch time at Six Happiness - from 12.30noon to 2.30pm. Such a boring function. Each of us were given a less than half glass of wine. Worse still, it’s tasted like mixed with water. This is cruel. Chinese cuisine with 9 servings.
FIrst came was the normal 4types of food - acting as appetizer. Then followed by shark fins. The third serving was the long awaited fish dishes followed with roasted chicken. Finally there were something nice. Fragrance Gold Prawn. Next was the vegetables, fried rice with chinese sausages. Finally the typical desserts.. red beans and kaya-pancake.
When it is over, everyone were chased back to work. Blah.. i hate it. Boss gave each of us at the end of the day a box of chinese mandarin to take home. Blah, i took 2 boxes but none to eat it at home. Just me… hehehe.
When it was 5.30pm, suddenly something struck me. The empty roads and deserted area whereby everyone are on their move - leaving the hectic city life for the “Home Sweet Home” feelings. Chinese New Year - last day of chinese lunar calendar falls on 8th February where everyone will sit around the table to celebrate the CNY’s eve.
My mom will be away working. I can’t blame her. My sister will join my uncle and i’ll be left alone? There’s high possibility i will go to my uncle house that night. How about the rest of the week? Thinking….]]>
