What\’s Your Moment?

It become interesting when I wanted to win a round of the game. It was sufficient for me to buy a meal of KFC. Unfortunately I lost the hand. It does not matter because my dad sponsor me some money so I can buy a barrel of KFC and treat them. One of the sweetest moment with KFC.

Today, we have to queue up at the counter to order KFC. It become self-service? Too bad because I used to go to a KFC at Jalan Pahang there. Now they shifted to Jalan Genting Klang due to the accessibility issue. My parents often bring my sister and I to that outlet to celebrate certain occassion. They served us at the dinner table. No need to walk to the counter. Jelly ice-cream come in glass instead of paper glass today. The chicken are served with plastic plates instead of paper. I miss the environment. But KFC needs to evolve to compete with McD.

Another favourite moments in KFC is having lunch with Wilson and Foo Wah at KFC outlet Mid Valley. Wilson decided to have Tom Yam flavor since he have not tasted it. I decided to stick to the original recipe. What could went wrong? We were chit chatting when suddenly, out of nowhere, Wilson coughing and his eyes become watery. I was like… WTF??? What is wrong? Cannot be the chicken too spicy for him. He drank a lot of the soda and finally, he was able to speak. Coughing a little, he blamed me and Foo Wah for making him choke and the spice of the tomyam become obvious to his taste bud. Thus, he ended choking and was unable to finish the rest of the food. Conclusion? Free food for me and Foo Wah as we ate his share.

So, what is your KFC moments?]]>

Few days ago, I meet up with Kelvin aka blursotong and Irene at the OM Fruit Juice. I happened to witness the incident of a man snatching one of the patrons handbag. At the time of incident, the patrons are ordering food and her handbag was placed at the stool. The handbag was beyond sight and I was not sure whether the person whom snatched the handbag was a friend of hers. It was awkward and I did shouted HUI but to no avail. I cannot see the face of the culprit. It was the crime by opportunity. The patrons was not cautious enough. Furthermore to put the blame at me. WTF!!!

I am going to north this coming Saturday and Sunday. I cannot wait for the PG Bloggers Meet. Anxious also. Many things to do but I still procastinate. Ehm. Typical Dale. All of sudden, I felt melanchony. What is wrong with me?

Bruce send me an email regarding Malaysian drivers. I am not sure about it. I prefer to leave it to you all to decide. Btw, I believe that there should be number 12.

What’s Your Value?

To Ponder About No Comments
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a RM100
note. In the room of 200, he asked, “Who would like this RM100 note?”Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this note to
one of you but first let me do this.” He proceeded to crumple the
note up.

He then asked, “Who still wants it?”

Still the hands were up in the air. “Well,” he replied, “What if I
do this?”

And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the
floor with his shoe.

He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

“Now who still wants it?” Still the hands went into the air.

“My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.

No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it
did not decrease in value. It was still worth RM 100/-.

Many times in ur lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into
the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come
our way.

We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened
or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

You are SPECIAL… don’t ever forget it!”

Never let yesterday’s disappointments overshadow tomorrow’s dreams.

” VALUE HAS A VALUE ONLY IF ITS VALUE IS VALUED BY YOU “

Stress Anyone?

Under the Sun No Comments

However, she wanted me to write her a resignation letter for her. I was like \”WTF?\” and proceed to ask her whats wrong and remind her that her intention to resign is act of impulse. She reached this post in matter of feew years and all of sudden want to resign? I told her that the main reason for her to resign must be due to stress. She agreed. I shared a couple of stories and if she wanted to be those people without any stress, then she must join those who buried 6 feet under.

The conversation lasted almost 2 hours and finally, things come into place. She felt better and I feel good. Her birthday is coming. This Sunday. I\’m wondering if my colleagues have any plan for her or not. I started work with them last year October and will be leaving by end of August. The same time I left eB.

I don\’t feel like waking up this morning. Yet, I drag my feet and get up to work. The feeling is enormously horrible. If I am to think about my repetitious life until the day I reached retire age, man…it really piss me off. So, every morning, I\’m talking to myself. \”Dude, live everyday like it\’s your last day\”. It\’s so contradict. My last day will be at work? I don\’t want to spend my last day like that. Need new approach. Time to search for more but after lunch.

Merdeka 57 to Vision 2020

Setapak High No Comments

In this month, I really wanted to share my thought about independence, my country and the society as well some incident that relate to it.

7 years ago, I took part in this competition called \’Choral Speaking\’. It was one of the main competition that my school highly look upon. It was a tradition for SMK Tinggi Setapak (aka Setapak High School). The main reason was that Mrs Singam was behind the Choral Speaking. She was the drive and inspiration for Choral Speaking. In 1997, we were able to secure 3rd place with funny script \’Night Market\’. The judges at the time I presume unable to appreciate good stuff like \’King Lear and his three daughter\’ or the \’Merdeka 57 to Vision 2020\’

It was a defeat that caught us by surprise. I can still remember vividly the times we spent practising. The struggle, the throat went sore, the fighting, the laughter and the \’konket\’. The beginning of \”Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!\” pierces the silence of the hall followed by the narration from Kin Ming..\”the Tunku voice rings proud and clear in the Kuala Lumpur\’s brand new Merdeka Stadium\”. \”Pa, What does merdeka mean? Well, Merdeka means free son, free to rule ourselves\”…. There\’s also CHOGM,Chewing Gum or Bubble Gum? Oh no.. it\’s abbreviation for Commonwealth Heads of Governments Meeting. Let bygone be bygone. We lost to idiotic of BBGS.

In my humble opinion, Malaysia have grown tremendously. Thanks for each and every person\’s effort to make it a better place. For you and for me and the entire community. Yet, there\’s still room for improvement. Recent issues that well spread on the masses, it shows that we have taken for granted what brings us here in the first place. The dream of late Tunku Abdul Rahman trying to gain independence from the British, the fight and struggle …

It is the time for us to back to basics. For 48 years we have been independence. Do we? Seriously, are we really independence? Are the Bumis aware that the government can\’t keep on protecting them? Are the Chinese understnad that there are things more important than money? Can the Indians stop filling up the cells? Yes, we\’ve been independence for 48 years. Mentally, we are not. If we keep on condemning, complaining and critisizing, we won\’t be able to be independent. In fact, everyone knew how things work around here. The status quo and the money will be the main thing to make things work their way. Law enforcement. Yeah.. in fact, the \’gambling machine\’ aka \’horse machine - ma gei\’ is back into business. How about efficiency of the private sector hospital when come into picture with the public hospital?

Malaysia, I\’m still proud of you. Proud to be Malaysian. I don\’t want to see this sense of proud gone down the drain one day. Let\’s make it a haven to all. All of us can make it. There\’s still long way to go.

Happy Independence Day, Malaysia!!!

What’s Hot In Malaysia Blogsphere?

Blogosphere No Comments

“A blog-tal aggregating content from a cross section of Malaysians being Malaysian.” Now being a famous portal for Malaysians, many starts to abuse it. We can see this from Commercial Blogs on PPS and the Copy-And-Pasters.

5xMom talked about it. And many did mentioning about it. Me joining the bandwagon, also want to talk about it too. Best still, ping at PPS and watching swarms of visitors flocking in like those pigs on their way to slaughter room. *Showing evil grins

KLJS missing in action in #malaysiabloggers (DaLnet), thus mack came up with #myBloggers . So if you keen to meet and live chat with bloggers, can go there. One side note, KennySia, PeterTan, Suanie and those taikor and taije can be found in the channel.

Ehhmm.. this got me thinking. Each of these famous taikor and taije have certain traits that attract visitors. From sex, humor, funny, discrimination, copy-and-paste, technology, reviews and the list goes on, I don’t think I belong to any of those. WTF? Then why I still BLOGGING?

DotA better! hahaha

*Side Note: Now we got Kah Soon number 2 flooding PPS. OMFGWTFBBQ you RAY7. Oh yan, Aiz.. it’s my first time ping PPS and first time already talk about Hot Issue which is the commercial blogs. ]]>
