From my exprience, we’ll start the conversation about the new workplace. The new environment and how well they were able to cope with. It started moderately when all the attention focusing on the subject “New Job”. After a while when everyone finish asking him/her the new job and the work, they have nothing to talk about.
Slowly, these ex-colleague will begin to ask about the old company they work for. Status of the company and what their colleagues are doing. Usually, the grass is always greener on the other side. Thus, these ex-colleagues will begin to compare the new company you are working with their company. Good or bad is through comparison and from there, there will be a lot of good and bad things.
This wil lead to more and more critism and complaints of their company. How their superior mistreated them. What is going on. How bad is it. Nothing, totally no good things came from their mouth.
