Malaysian’s Mindset

To Ponder About

tiuniasing’s post, jeff’ ooi’s post and TVsmith’s post, I wondering that what goes wrong. Where went wrong? Enlighten me please.

Yesterday I met up with Kin Meng. He happened to drop by Setapak to get a new racquet and invited me to go to his new house. After re-allocation from Pekeliling. His mother now staying at the new compound in Setapak Jaya. When I reach there, my first impression is this is another Pekeliling Flat in the making. According to Kin Meng, it’s already the THING itself.

Within the first week after shifting here, the facilities provided are being vandalised. The lift panel are being smashed, walls filled with graffiti (i was hoping for that but worse than that, they don’t even have sense of art), urine-musky-smell in the lift, littering like dump site and more.

None of these are intact in a week. What’s wrong with our Malaysian mentality. Does education serves it purpose? Fuck Pendidikan Moral. Just get those subjects recommended by michaelooi. We seems like under-developed citizens in a developing countries among the developed nations of globalisation era. With more and more Malaysian’s blogs appear on the blogsphere, the world are looking at the actual life of Malaysian instead of what projected by mass media.

Looking at the glass half full is always better than looking at it half empty. With blogs recommended in blogsmalaysia.com, hopefully our Malaysians will see that there’s still hope to achieve vision 2020 with pride. Just that we need to put in xxx amount of effort compared to now. I always thinking.. should i get a digicam and place it in the car. Just in case I saw any vehicles being stopped by the law enforcer, I can snap the pic and submit to the authorities just in case they didn’t play their role. Just a thought but if you think it’s good, I haven’t got any digicam yet and Xmas is around. Tenkiu tenkiu in advance.
