It begins with a simple question from Sotong, “Do you have anyone looking for a job – technician. basically formatting PC and stuff like that. The company is doing rental of pcs, av and etc”. Curious, i asked why he would like to have extra technician to format a PC everytime the PC is returned from customer premises. Naturally, I felt that the task wasn’t necessary for extra technician instead I suggested that why not use another solution like “Go Back” which might ease the operation of the business.
Another friend, FrostBlue (FB) retaliated by mentioning that I’m being cruel to make people losing job by introducing such technology to the company. So, the debate started and lasted for about 50 minutes saying who’s right and wrong. Between cruelty and humanity. To me, it’s simple. If the company require to expand itself, they need to work on the operation and reducing operation expenditure. Hiring extra workers doesn’t help in longer run. The arguement lasted so long that finally FB labeled CrazySinner and me as cruel being who thinks the introduction of the technolgy is necessary.
It’s like the case of the availability of the computer. It really reduce the number of workforce in the company. Downstream the company structure and make it more manageable. Sigh* Luckily I decided to let FB conclude whatever he needed to conclude. It’s pointless to argue with a person who thinks he right all the time. -_-”
So, my question now is “will you inform the guy that there’s way to ease the process of formating the pc instead of hiring extra workforce to do the job?” Lend me a voice of your mind, please. Thanks]]>
