I sms-ed a friend of mine last night. A distance friend I would say. Just a casual good night gesture. A random one of course.
As I was about to dozed off, suddenly someone shouted “Monster Kill” and it was actually the tone from my phone to indicate incoming sms. I check the message and inside it stated that my message get to her at the right time. She was just smsing to her ex-bf, the one and only first love which I have no idea about. The reason I have no idea about was because she is a distance friend.
Inside the message, she added that she sms him because it was his birthday and she found out that he already got into a new relationship. She also informed me that she felt stupid and relieved at the same time. I asked her why. She replied that she felt relieved that he got into new relationship and stupid because she still miss him. I told her bluntly that she felt stupid because she still sms him and found out he is in new relationship. Relieved is because she just realised that she’s not just so into him.
She replied to me that I speak out of her mind and added that I’m good. At that moment, the only person I can relate to was dr Liew. I felt like dr Liew. Anyway, I just t.ld her that women always speak the opposite and they tend to use the same formula in love. It’s like the Law of Gravity. I manage to push the button luckily about he was her first love and by now, she will start to move on in relationship.
Her reply was unexpected. She told me that there is another guy asking her to be his gf and she rejected him. She says that she need to forget the past and move on. I told her not to. Not to forget about first love. It’s her bitter sweet memories of her to keep. Learn from it and take it with you. She told me she starts to understand what I am trying to tell her.
Profound ? she said so. To me, I have no idea what am I saying. At least it meant something to her. Good luck, girl.
