Lazy DIY

Under the Sun

I’ve been procastinating to my mom to install a water filter to tap all the dirt from going into the washing machine. So, on that unlucky day I decided to do a shopping at Carrefour to look at the available water filter.

I got a water filter and since then it’s been sitting idle with no intention to make fully use of it. As inspired by ah pek, over his screwthehandyman blog, I’ve decided to DIY myself and saving a few ringgits to get pDVD. Slightly a better alternative, I guess. I headed down to my friendly store and ask for solution what to hook things up. I was sorry for talking to the noob that eventually I have no idea what to do. The fella who was supervising also has no idea how to help me out after I explain over and over again.

I head home empty handed. A week later, not wanting to give up, I head back to the same shop. This time, I’m talking to the owner’s son who is also driving a Toyota VIOS which is similar to Ivan’s Proton VIOS. A few conversations, he knew what I wanted to do. There and there, he suggested the items below for my DIY session.

Item 1Item 2Item 3Item 4Item 5

With his help, I manage to work on the things before my mom returns. There you go, you need to read more on screwthehandyman blog to inspire you to DIY more. If you don’t know how to DIY, you are not MAN enough…

On this day..
