It’s there. Out there. Go get them.
Yeah, it was a big event. And it happens to be doing well. Everyone turn up. Lets do some hypothesis.
If I were there, I’ll be camwhoring long enough to be most blogs.
If I were there, I’ll look ugly in the pictures coz’ I’m not photogenic unless someone photochopped me. :p
If I were there, I’ll be hero rescuing FA from her mobile phone being snatched.
If I were there, maybe the Putra will break down again.
If I were there, I’ll be blogging about it.
And given that it’s just hypothesis. I just don’t freaking care. Come, comment trolls, I’m waiting for ya’
A parable is told of a farmer who owned an old mule. The mule fell into the farmer’s well. The farmer heard the mule ‘braying’ - or - whatever mules do when they fall into wells. After carefully assessing the situation, the farmer sympathized with the mule, but decided that neither the mule nor the well was worth the trouble of saving.
Instead, he called his neighbors together and told them what had happened…and enlisted them to help haul dirt to bury the old mule in the well and put him out of his misery. Initially, the old mule was hysterical! But as the farmer and his neighbors continued shoveling and the dirt hit his back…a thought struck him.
It suddenly dawned on him that every time a shovel load of dirt landed on his back…HE SHOULD SHAKE IT OFF AND STEP UP! This he did, blow after blow. “Shake it off and step up…shake it off and step up…shake it off and step up!” he repeated to encourage himself. No matter how painful the blows, or distressing the situation seemed the old mule fought “panic” and just kept right on SHAKING IT OFF AND STEPPING UP! You’re right! It wasn’t long before the old mule, battered and exhausted, STEPPED TRIUMPHANTLY OVER THE WALL OF THAT WELL! What seemed like it would bury him, actually blessed him…all because of the manner in which he handled his adversity.
THAT’S LIFE! If we face our problems and respond to them positively, and refuse to give in to panic, bitterness, or self-pity…THE ADVERSITIES THAT COME ALONG TO BURY US USUALLY HAVE WITHIN THEM THE POTENTIAL TO BENEFIT AND BLESS US! Remember that FORGIVENESS–FAITH–PRAYER– PRAISE and HOPE…all are excellent ways to
“SHAKE IT OFF AND STEP UP” out of the wells in which we find ourselves! - Author Unknown
Ed Note : In dedication to ms. Crayonlynn (pun intended) for her recent post.
In conjunction with the 49th Malaysia Independence Day, aka Merdeka Day for Malaysia, which falls on 31st August, all Malaysian should raise the flag, our National Flag, Jalur Gemilang in the name of patriotism.
For once, I was wondering what is the hype for raising the flag anyway? A simple googling found me the latest entry on the issue. You can find the links below. Last time, we Malaysian used to enjoy raising the flag. Decorating the entire of their cars for example with full of mini Jalur Gemilang. And some even go the distance like making the largest cake in the shape of Jalur Gemilang as well.
How well do we, Malaysian understand the flag. Our own Jalur Gemilang. Fairly, most of us find it that to decorate the building, office premises or even homes with Jalur Gemilang as part of the needs. Not the real show of appreciation and loving for the country from the bottom of the heart. Go read the history and some fact about our Jalur Gemilang here.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Malaysia
I recalled that when the media urge us all to raise the mini Jalur Gemilang on their car, my friends and I joked that whenever the law enforcers saw the mini flag on the car roof, they’ll just “tutup mata sebelah” even if we are speeding or breaking the traffic laws. It’s mean, I know to joke about the Jalur Gemilang.
As the matter of fact, I was once a prefect in my primary school whom designated to raise the Jalur Gemilang on the Monday morning assembly for 3 straight years. Every day I had raise the flag in the morning and take it down before school ends. It was a demanding job and sometimes, the flag has to be raised half accordingly to the nation’s affair like the death of certain royalty or etc.
When I was raising the Flag, I always firm believer that the flag should never touch the land. Why? it’s symbolise that the country and the Flag should always standing tall. Raised. We should never step on it or even discard them anywhere just like the post-Merdeka Day celebration. It ached my heart to see the flag, even the mini Flag being treated like junk along the roadside. It shows that we still in the 3rd world mentality. Yes. That’s why I never mess with the Jalur Gemilang for once.
Some blardy idiot raised the flag for all year long and left it to the cruelty of the harsh weather. Finally, the flag were worn out over time. Is that the way to treat your national flag? Probably that’s why you will never see me messing around with mini flag.

In response to my taikor Wingz siew, I do agree that life never find us in peace. Once a while, they’ll come in with some challenges and obstacles. Guess that’s part of life. A very typical life. Because we are just mortals.
If people like us want some peace, you can always find a place that is very peaceful. Go and find a place with the 3 initials. R.I.P. (Rest In Peace) That time, these people won’t have any problems nor issues. No obstacles and challenges. No such thing called busy or hectic. Everyday just sleep. Or lay there dead? At least today my schedule are damn packed. That’s because my customer always want me to do miracle for them. Everytime say urgent and last minute. Critical issue to be attended to and so on, so forth.
When I read Wingz mia blog, I understand that I’m very appreciate that I’m also going the similar obstacles like you and me. We are just a simple man eh? Truly agree. Just like what I told Hallajs the other night. In fact, it was yesterday night that I suggested to him that I should be looking for a girl from Penang. Make it part of the criterias for my girlfriend. And when it comes to the reason for getting a Penangites girlfriend, that because I will eventually have a reason why I need to go back to Penang often. Simple as it can be, I can go back there and have Penang Char Kueh Teow and Penang Laksa.
Movies, movies and movies. Little did I know that nowadays GSC do offer real-time purchase of tickets. Not booking but purchase. Of course they’ll have to charge you via credit card and additional RM3 for this kind of service. Unless you capable to have runner like Titoki. Of course people like me, I’m relying on this surperb service. What’s it there for a RM3 since the service provided is damn good. The bad things are they currently supporting only 2 cinemas. The GSC in 1 Utama and GSC Mid Valley. Please refer to the link here for additional information.
Dragon Tiger Gate anyone?
I was a shy guy. Even now also I still am shy towards opposite sex. I can’t sleep now as my mind wanders back. Fast back to 1997/98.
Back then, Galleria still operates. Somehow, back then I had phone calls. From someone unknown. It come to intndice themselves as Lu Yee, Chai Xia and Yen Ling. How they gotten my phone numbers to this day I still have no idea. We have several good conversation and I did buy them pizza with Tony, Judy and Foo Wah alongside.
They were among some of the opposite sex I came to know off besides the infamous Li Chia and the rest from neighbouring school, the APGS. I always remember that I played a song from Eric Moo back then to her, Lu Yee. The reason I did that way because I bought Eric’s cd and keep listening to it back then.
yeah, I still recalled how silly am I to write my PMR target to Lu Yee back then. I was aiming to score straight A’s but somehow rely on the tips that got me screwed for the first day. In fact, things were ok with them at first. Just being friends and you know….
It was ended up badly when Lu Yee gave me a present. It was a bottle of stars. Handmade paper stars. Those you flip and flip to get the shape? It was a hidden message from her. According to Chai Xia, I need to find the odd star inside the bottle and from there I can find Lu Yee’s message. When I found out the odd star, I unfold it and saw a couple of words. It stated ‘I don’t want to be friend with you anymore’.
From that moment onwards, I never hear from them anymore.
p/s : I still have Yen Ling on msn. Just not the other two. I still hope to find out what happened back then that makes Lu Yee wrote such thing. Need to resolve that.
Syok men, when you start looking at PPS, you will definitely see plenty of post regarding the UPM aka Mob issue. So, what shall we benefit from such incident being overrated with hypes and what not?
Let’s look into it from a different view. My view of course. Otherwise, you won’t be staying till the end of my current post? Ehm. Where shall I begin. Do we know what are the causes from the mob incident? Unauthorized counter? Bang, need license ke? What else required? A formal letter to get the authority to start a counter? I suppose we need to since you-know-la. More than 3 person will be considered an unauthorized gathering. Something like that.
The other causes for them to create some issue from here…nvm. Quoting from here. Let’s not get that into our mind
Here we would like to appeal to all the students NOT to make your own conclusion on what expired in the video clips without investigating it further. We will be no different than some pathetic souls out there who have no idea of what this thing about, yet still manage to shoot out comments blindly.
Sotong told me, nowadays this kind of act cannot simply pull anymore. Got camera phone, digital camera and stuff like that. Technology is cheap. Hence, someone might use it as their tools for their own agenda.
People!! Hot heads and cold hearts never solve anything.. bleargh~!
Just that particular day, you wake up and realise that things changed. You yourself changed. You start to realised what you have become of. For the change that you see in other people. You wish that people who changed to be doom and sent to hell. Forever. In that moment of your awakening, you realised that slowly you have be part of the same people you wished and cursed.
For sometime. For the moment of truth, we don’t really know of ourselves. Mortals like you and me, are just like actors on the stage. we recite beautiful songs and speeches. Play the act and role. Sometimes, shit happens. There’s no NG. no take two. We leave it to the critics.
Now, lost between two characters, I wonder which characters I like the most? what mask shall I put on? Hiding myself far away from this cruel cold blooded world. This poor little soul is crying out for miracle. Be it the monetary oriented man or carefree whatever will do kind of man? And if that one day,the particular one day come find you realised that whatever you hold off on this Soil, god creation soil, has nothing you wish for, what would you do?
I can only wish for that extra time. Like that extra time in football, with Him.
Last Saturday night, I had a call from FrostBlue. He was the dota kaki last time. He invited me to join him for a drinking session. Since I have nothing much else to do or considered free, I headed there and met up with his friend, Kenneth.
A simple plain conversation ensue and started to get interesting when they touched about my homeland, my country. I’m proud being Malaysian. For the principles that we uphold for the past 49 years. Maybe it’s just for the weak minds like you and me. However, FrostBlue keep saying that he is kind of frustrated with what is happening around here. I simply told him that don’t just waste time complaining sitting over the kedai kopi. Act! Do something you can to change the situation. Turn around the table.
I remembered that Cikgu Jamali like to reminds us that those uncles and pakcik that we often saw in kedai kopi (coffeeshop), usually are tin kosong (empty vessels) and nothing to do but complaining, condemning and criticizing. Guess that’s the majority of people are doing all the times. Can considered that bloggers are those majority? :p
How about those who blogged 24 hours non-stop to pledge for donation from all around? I don’t know. It seems to me that many are talk cock and sing song. When it’s over, it’s just over. No one will talk about it. Simple as that.. melayu mudah lupa? Scrap that off. It’s Malaysian Mudah Lupa. We all forget where we come from. We are nothing. Just made of mere dust. Or we are living carbon based being. Hehehe… are we not?
