It’s been quite sometime since I do a proper update on my blog. The hectic life of mine along with my super procastination, professionally witheld me from doing an update. Furthermore, for the past 2 week was a busy week for me.
With a 2 day off from work, I just malas-ing around. Busy doing nothing. Okay, I did partially clean up my room. Clean up my car with all the junk and rubbish kept inside. Later that week, I’m rushing off some work stuff and then comes along the company trip. The trip to Northern region. Where? Cannot tell. Later Sham find out. Anyway, the place was really sucks. But what to blame on when it comes to the budget constraint we having. That’s why I always stick to the sayings “Cheap things no good, good things no cheap”
With the World Cup fever ending soon, I hope for Zidane to get the Golden Ball and France winning the cup as for the retirement gift to Zidane. England who used to got beaten by World Cup champions for the first time losing to Portugal, whom never lifted the World Cup before. That’s something new and to celebrate for.
On the other hand, a friend of a friend was applying for a vacant in my workplace. Thus, she contacted me and ended up going for interview. After her second interview, she called me and bug me about her interview outcome. I told her that it was up to the management to decide. Furthermore, I also worried about her attitude and thinking since she’s currently jobless. I talked to my boss about it, and we share the common thing. She lack of experience, lack of confidence and monetary oriented. These criterias are contradict to the management requirements. We need someone good for such position and I can’t bear having someone so noob to help me out in work.
This drills down to the mentality and mindset of our graduates. Lacking of soft skills might be one of them. How about the eagerness to secure high paycheck instead of working for experience and learning? Added up that what we study in tertiary education doesn’t help out when we come out to work. Hehehe… see where do we fail? We can do better than that right?
