1. Scammer? Are they…

I received a call on one sweet Thursday morning. He claimed he is Jim, who a friend of a friend whom had my name card. He enquire whether the company I working at is an IT company. He told me that there is an opportunity in Sabah. A huge IT mega project that rocketed to 7 figure digit. Surprising, I asked how he got my number? Who referred him to me? And on what account basis that they need us to work with them? After a several minutes, I decided why not I drop by to their office to discuss the opportunities for working together.  At first, he seems okay with it but throughout tthe conversation, he keep demanding if it’s okay for my company to issue a RM30,000 of marketing fee to them once my company has agreed to the bidding of the project. To my knowledge, there won’t be any free lunch in this world so I decided to test them out. Later of the day, he called again asking me to confirm the appointment if we (my company) agreed to provide the RM30,000 marketing fee. I told him that it is not a problem but we need to discuss this further to make sure the feasibility of the project. It ends up that they decided not to proceed with the meeting since I reluctant to promise them of the RM 30,000 marketing fee. If there’s anyone familiar with the company Wawasan Mega Juta, can share on the background of it as I can’t seem to find any information about them.Â

2. Quiksilver

*SMS* – you want to go for the QuikSilver sale next week? confirm now to put u under guest list. I ended up in KLCC’s QuikSilver that day, which the expenses amounted to RM 320++. I notice the people there shop like nobody business. It’s like damn cheap but I believe so coz’ most of them spend up to RM500 in at least. On one occassion, I saw a guy wearing a decent attire. Smart looking with designer label. His shopping at the QuikSilver was around RM774+, and proceed with the payment using a VISA Gold. I was queueing behind him and saw the way he hand out his credit card was like WAY DAMN KAU LCLY ARROGANT. The cashier later informed him whether he had any other credit card to go? The guy asked why? The cashier told him upfront. Off the chest. “Your credit limit is already burst”  I was grinning behind looking at his damn arrogant face. *hehe*
