Remote Control Kamikaze

Under the Sun No Comments

Question: What would happened if Chinese scientists command pigeons via remote control?

Answer:  You get free kamikaze. By tying sufficient C4 on the pigeon, you can transport a flock of pigeon like those migration bird to one place. With the right amount of C4, you can blow the entire building. Hehehe. Do you think possible?

Miss K Again - Part 1

Rantings Ramblings 5 Comments

Well, let’s make this a final entry about her. She won’t be around for long and eventually the other day, I intentionally put up my blog on the msn. I knew that if she is free enough, she might be visiting the url on my nick. With God’s might, she did. How I know? Coz’ there’s one time she intentionally mentioning to other colleagues that “hizecool” is still at his workplace despite that the time was around 10pm.

Hopefully she learn to know that i’ve been labeling her as Miss K all these while. Anyway, what’s so wrong with her? Let me recap how sorhai she is lah. There are so many incidents that I might eventually afraid that I might miss out.

Incident 1
When I was meeting a new prospect, I have to bring her along so she could help me on the discussion on the appropriate solution. Unknown to me, she bring a voice recorder along. And she really record down the conversation with the prospect. OMFG. That is so embarrassing I tell you. What not. Well whenever the prospect was sharing about the technologies and solutions available and that he is aware of, you know what she did? she’ll just like brushing him off. Yalor. In fact, today this product can do this…. If i were the prospect, I would also feel that she is looking down on me.

Incident 2
She went on leave without notifying the admin. It was during the Hari Raya occassion whereby there’s actually 2 working days in between the public holiday and weekend. Since that we are working, she decided to call it a two day off. You know what excuses she told us? “I thought that these two days after Hari Raya, nobody is working. Thus I didn’t come back to office”

Incident 3
When she first joined the company, she suddenly gone missing. We were all surprised and not knowing where she was. Later we found out that she was at home. Furthermore, I was having a tender, the submission is around the corner and she was no where to be found in the office compound. Just by asking her to work on the proposal, she added that she couldn’t concentrate and need to go home to work since it is much quieter. What is think kind of excuses?

Incident 4
Another tender this time. But the groundwork was to conduct a site survey. She was assigned to conduct the site survey with me and the cabling partners. The session was arranged in the afternoon. So, at first I have an early appointment and afraid I couldn’t back to office on time which I requested her to meet me at the customer premise. However, I managed to reach back to office before lunch but she was no way to be found. I called her up, found that she was at home. The boss did asked where was she. Her excuse? She was working late for that day site survey. Wait a minute, what’s with the site survey that need to work and stayed up so late?

I asked her can she make it to office after lunch since I planning to go with 1 car instead? She confirmed to me that she will make it on time. So, after lunch with ample time I went to collect cakes. By the time I return back to office, she was yet to be found. I called her up and found out that she was still at home. She told me that she will be there later time.

Due to her ignorance, I have to drove her from premise A to premise B and back to premise A to collect her car. It took me more than 1 hour stuck in traffic congestion because we completed the site survey after 5pm. Like TNS say, Tiu!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summarization
She caused the boss to question me whether she is okay or not. The reason was she often seems high on drugs and or working part time/free lance at night that she seems so tired in office. Whether she serving customer or not.. I dunno.. hahaha
=.=

Well, that’s basically some of the incident I recalled and have dealt with her. However, stay tuned for part 2 whereby I will add in the other colleagues had their mishap dealing with her.

How to write a resignation letter?

To Ponder About 2 Comments

You know, in today fast moving world where everything is fast and hectic, we tend to keep everything simple and short. In other, KISS.

Today, I would like to that this opportunity to share with all my readers how to write an effective and superlative resignation letter. Of all the 4 format, I love this one:-

Dear Boss,

You know why i want to resign?

Since I worked for you, i have no time to blog anymore. When i don’t have time to blog anymore, my readers hate me. When my readers hate me, they don’t visit my blog anymore. When they don’t visit my blog anymore, my hits drop. When my hits drop, i become unhappy. When i become unhappy, i will eat a lot. When i eat a lot, i will get fat. When i get fat, it will affect your company’s image. When your company’s image is affected, your business no good. When your business no good, you become unhappy. When you become unhappy, you eat a lot, like me. When you eat a lot, i’m afraid you will become fat, like me.

You see, Boss, it’s a vicious cycle. I did everything for your own good, because i care for you. Boss.

So the conclusion is, i want to resign. Please let me go la.

Yours cheesily,

Ringo

History of Religion

To Ponder About 2 Comments

Last time, as I can recall that i used to cheat in the History class. This was because there’s too many dates, names and location I need to remember. Especially when it comes to the different golden era of each religion.

But now, we all no need to fear. If you think you are sucks in the religion but wanted to know more, here’s the link.

How has the geography of religion evolved over the centuries, and where has it sparked wars? Our map gives us a brief history of the world’s most well-known religions: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism. Selected periods of inter-religious bloodshed are also highlighted. Wingz RM1

Understanding Me, Myself 3 Comments

Last night I was having my LatKyok annual dinner at Crystal Palm Seafood Restaurant near the Jalan Ipoh/Sentul area. It was organized by the LK chairperson and the damage? RM1,776 for 18 pax. Not bad since the food is tremendously good and the environment is nice. We brought in 2 liquor of Hennessey and Remy Martin.

It was during last night that I received SMS from Wingz stating there will be a meeting on the saturday afternoon for the discussion on the TogetherGather Party. Thus I have to sleep early that night but eventually I woke up at 12noon. Then, I on my way rushing to meet up with the rest whom already there. In fact, the Mr. Sky Keep You aka CKYeo is there also representing LinPeh. Wingz belanja us makan lunch and when we about to cabut, all was asking him for angpao.

He mentioned that he dun have any empty angpao so I quickly bring out the red packets and passed it to him. Now that he have empty angpao, then he should give angpao to all of us. You know how much he gives? RM 1.00. You know hor, its not the matter of the amount we received but it’s the angpao that counts. In fact, Wingz angpao is the first blogger angpao I have yet to received. You all dun jeles k?

Muahahaha.. and if u curse me lar, let the sky keep u after all.

Potentiality And Reality

Under the Sun 2 Comments

How many of us understood the real meaning of Potentiality & Reality?

Not sure? Read this moral story and enjoy yourself.
AceOne: “Tell me LinPeh, what is the difference between “Potentiality” and “reality”?”

LinPeh: “I will show you”

LinPeh turns to ahLian and asks her: “Would you sleep with Robert Blueford for 1 million dollars”?

ahLian: “Yes of course! I would never waste such an opportunity”!

Then LinPeh asks his neighbour, ahHua, if she would sleep with Brad Pffitt for 1 million dollars?

ahHua:” Wow! Yes! he is my fantasy!”

So LinPeh turns to his elder son, Wingz and asks him: “Would you sleep with Tom Kruise for 1 million dollars”?

Wingz: “Yeah! Why not? Imagine what I could do with 1 million Dollars! I would never hesitate!”

So the LinPeh turns back to AceOne saying:” You see,”Potentially” we are sitting on 3 million dollars, but in “Reality” we are living with 2 prostitutes and 1 gay.

Complimentary Lucky Draw

Rantings Ramblings No Comments

Due to the overwhelming request from my friends from previous employment, we went out for a CNY dinner session, at TongJing near the Danau Kota for 8 pax last night after consulting with LinPeh where to kau lui and lou sang at the same time.

There, we ordered a plate of lou sang for 8, another 5 dishes which cost about RM105. Damn expensive during CNY. So after the damage, they provide a complimentary lucky draw. One of my friend go and draw from the box. While he was doing it, I asked the waitress that we will be getting a can of Cock coke. She was smiling and I knew it that the gifts allocated won’t far fetched from 1 or 2 ringgit cost. It proves to be true when he drew a coupon “A can of complimentary soft drink”. Wtf??!!

We asked that what are those big grand prizes that they had. She pointed to the cashier counter and we saw plenty of soft toys. -.- Wtf??!! Better don’t put up the lucky draw as well. Or at least provide some desserts or free fruits better. Sigh*

Cisco and Marketing Campaign

Under the Sun No Comments

One of the blog I frequently paying a visit to is nonetheless, the TiuNiaSing blog. I couldn’t come to myself that why would I go there often just to read his side of the story. Oh well, guess his alter ego brings satisfaction to me.

Anyway, I was surprised that Cisco is damn aggressively in their marketing campaign at least currently in the wireless area. After the introduction of Airespace and the new thin-AP, they are making a comeback by their security switches and the integration of their security portfolio families like ASA and stuff alike. Which I am not familar with since I tend towards other brand which I am not going to promote coz’ I am not being paid for doing so. :P

One thing good about Cisco is their willingness to spend on the marketing side whereby creating needs and demands. In fact, most companies in Malaysia tends to prefer Cisco and known as Cisco house. This perhaps is due to the awareness in the networking area whereby when you think about routers, Cisco.  Switches, Cisco and on. But of course, this ended up as Cisco would be the “good to have” things in the network for most companies in Malaysia. However, most of these companies ended up with other than Cisco due to the issue of costing. The Malaysia market is basically defined by the buying power or the budget allocation.

Anyway not to far off the point of this entry, when I saw that TNS was blogging on Sponsored (Pay Per Post) on the Cisco solutions itself, it makes me wonder that what happened to other competitors of Cisco? Where does they stand? maybe Cisco have larger marketing fund as comparison to others?  Ehm….
