The Next Forever

Rantings Ramblings 2 Comments

I couldn't sleep after such a nap during the Sunday noon. Eehmm.. besides what can I do but blog. Nothing come up except the need to write something random.

Here how it goes:-

The Next Forever

The line drawing us, the other day

I was hurt to let you go.

If tomorrow you are going to change,

Allow me to be the last person who had the wrongdoing in love.

If tomorrow I wake up to find that you are the different person,

Wishing myself that I can wake up as a new person.

The past is the tense. Time is the test.

What is the next forever?

Don't want to love you so deep

Wanted to be like you

Open up your door and go out to love anew

Finding the next forever.

If one day we met,

I wanted to see both of us hugging our next forever.

But now I need to only to get over the grief,

Able to forget that you are the one

The one I love most.

Wish that one day,

both of us can walk down the lane,

the memory lane with the next forever.

Dota - got cheated

DOTA 3 Comments

first half match. - randomed except 1

I got Death Knight, with Vengeful and Magina  on my team versus Lion, Venomancer and Centaur on the Sentinel side. Halfway, they rematch again due to we actually owned them.

second match - 4 vs 3 (me being on the 3 peron team)

all was allpick except me. Got cheated whereby initally I thought everyone is going to random. Wtf! I got Oblivion with my mates using Death Knight and Warlock.

The opposition took Jakiro, Centaur, Lion and Bounty Hunter. The odd? If we were to push early, we could win the game. Nonetheless, we aren't competitive enough at the late game. Bounty owned me. Sigh* Ward was quite useful but couldn't do much there.

Conclusion? Imbalance game! Hehe

Previous Employment Revisited

Rantings Ramblings 1 Comment

After a year and 7 months leaving the previous company, I manage to meet up with my previous directors again. Appearantly they resigned from the company as well due to certain complications they had with the owner of the company.

Instead of talking what happened, I rather choose not to listen or know about it. The thing is that it's not easy when people wanted to share their sorrows with you. I had to lend a ear to them. Most of the staff that left the company often shared with me what happened inside the company. Not that I intend to being busybody but they wanted me to know why they were so frustrated and disappointed with the company itself.

Most of the time is the struggles and ups and downs they had to put up with. There's one case whereby one of the ex-staff who had left the company blog about his experience working with the company in his friendster's blog. It turned out that the management aka the only owner of the company knews about the matters. The boss called him up and told him in sarcastic way, "I'm truly afraid of you. Please don't do this to me" which at the same time he lodged a police report that this ex-staff blog about him and the company.

At the end, this ex-staff eventually have to delete his blog in order to safeguard himself and avoid further complication since he had family to take care of as well as getting himself another job to pay the bills.

The boss had become so paranoid and suspicious that whoever that left the company have bad intentions to the company. This reflected even further when few senior staff decided to tender their resignation, for a greener pasture. The boss get one of them into his office. He told one of the staff that they are leaving the company together as an act of sabotage. He added that he going to lodge a police report that they are conspired and wanted to sabotage the company. Even those who left the company or ex-staff are considered as enemies. They are not welcome to keep in touch with the current employees.

Looking at the scenario, and even the records, did he ever looked at the number or statistics of the staff turnover? Why on earth that there are so huge number of staff turnover? Did he did anything for staff retaining?

There are few times that whoever left the company, he the Boss would eventually condemning the person during the management meeting. He would add that whoever left will not able to make a decent living outside. He believes that these people couldn't survive outside.

I reserve no resentment to the company, as the matter of fact. Just there are times when I heard such news, it hurts me as much as I still does have friends working there, whom have to deal with him on daily basis. In fact, by comparing the previous boss and my current employer, I felt I am blessed with a better Boss right now.

Like they say, good or bad is throuugh comparing. :D

Rejuvenation

Rantings Ramblings 5 Comments

Never in my life I ever feel so burn out. Ok. maybe I did but it's been a long time and I already forgotten about it. What you guys do when really stressed out max. Fatigue. Tired. Exhausted. Whatever you call it.

I just want a break off my daily routine. Right now, I wanted to go for a spa. Sitting in a hot tub, resting. Soaked with aromatherapy oil. A warm massage and half an hour ear candling. Maybe a masque and back rub would do too.

Wtf! I sounds sissy huh for the above paragraph right!!! In fact, all I wanted is nothing much. Just break away from my daily routine. Like Huei says, everyday thinking of dragging the leg back to work is like wanting to die like that. Maybe an intense workout. Adrenalin pumping. Paintball?! Jungle trekking or n4s?! I don't know.

Need to rejuvenate myself once more, especially when I need not only being on the frontline but also dealing with people within, in their comfort zone. But with your comments condemn encouragement, I will have the strength to carry on. Surprised

Ooooo….In the jungle, the mighty jungle whers the lion sleeps tonight…

Deep down inside the jungle, lives 3 little vampires. They are Linpeh, Kenny and Nicole. So, one day night, they gathered around and tok kok sing song. Out of nowhere LinPeh bragged about how good he is and how fast he can suck the human's blood out. Kenny and Nicole also don't believe him.

Hence there where is the challenge come up. Nicole told Linpeh to prove to them that he can travel to the city and suck of a human's blood. Linpeh took the challenge and swift…. he was gone. 3 hours later Linpeh returned. His lips were red covered with blood. Linpeh shared that he have to travel all the way down to the city to find blood to suck. Night time nowadays city so bright. Like they no need to sleep. So he had to be careful not being caught.

Kenny doesn't seem impressed at all. He told Linpeh he can do better. With a spilt of second, Kenny was gone. Half an hour later, he was back with his mouth full of blood dripping out. Kenny said that he travelled to the near village where people sleep early. No electricity. Easy to do business there.

Nicole seeing that so much of fun the two guys are having, she also wanted to try and see how fast she can go to suck a human's blood. So, off she goes in a blink of an eye. Less than 3 seconds, she was back. Now, even her entire face was covered with blood. Both Linpeh and Kenny were surprise to see her back so soon. With blood covered her face. They asked her how she did it.

Nicole told them that she was so sexcited that on her flight, she hit a tree with her face. Thats explain why her face was covered blood because she didn't pay attention to her route. Bang! Face on the tree.

So, after the story… here comes the moral. What is the moral of the story? Please choose one of them. It's a multiple choice question.

  1. Look before you leap. (meaning think before you act)

  2. Women are lousy drivers.
  3. When people sexcited, they tend to lose focus
  4. Bragging do you no good.
  5. None of the above.

Can You See It?

Under the Sun 4 Comments

Long long time ago, there's a legendary hunter by the name of AhPek. Everyone in the town knew about AhPek ability in hunting. He was nicknamed as The Haunted Hunter.

AhPek was blessed with 4 sons. The eldest son was named AceOne, since he was the first child. AhPek wanted AceOne to be like him, number one and is the ace among the ace. So, being the first child AceOne knew that he need to be the role model for the rest of his siblings. That's why he had been very hardworking and a good student of his father.

The second child was named SkyKeepYou, as the child was a gift and being able to conceive the child at the very late age was a miracle too. Therefore, SkyKeepYou since at his young age always admiring the clouds. AhPek occassionally will whack him for daydreaming too much. Never in his life wanted to hunt the hunt, rabbit.

Wingz was the third child. Since young, he always admire the birds and the bees. They all got wings according to AhPek. Once a while, Wingz will asked his brother to check at his back see if he got wings or not. AhPek sometimes also think his third son got screw fell loose.

The last child was named AhBeng. AhBeng was AhPek's dearest. Energetic and fast learner, AhBeng was the only one that able learn all AhPek skills among the siblings.

Now that AhPek is getting old and planning to retire. So to be successor to his profession and pass his slingshot to the successor, he decided to give 4 of them the trial of their life. One fine day, he asked them to meet him at the countryside hilltop along with their bows and arrows. When everyone was there, AhPek asked them whether they know why they were called upon today.

AceOne being the eldest and always wanted to be his brother role model quickly step out to answer AhPek question. He say that he knew AhPek wanted someone to take over his job as a hunter. Hence, AhPek nodded in agreement. The next question AhPek post was "What can you see from here?"

AcOne replied, "I can see the Sun, the mountains, the greens, the clouds, the birds, the river and the deer…" but was cut short by AhPek. Then AhPek turn his head towards SkyKeepYou to seek an answer from him. SkyKeepYou replied "Dad, I see the beautiful clouds, in a form of apple, then there's this one at your right looks like a rabbit". Then Wingz quickly interrupt by stating that he saw "birds with wings!!! See, birdies….fly birdie fly" while pointing at a flock of birds and mimic the birds flying.

AhPek sighed and turn to look at AhBeng. AhBeng with his pair of sharp eyes, took his right hand up and pointed to the downhill. He told AhPek that he only saw the deer. That was the answer AhPek been seeking and finally, he knew who is his successor.

The moral of the story are aplenty. In fact, this story encompassed a few key characters which has nothing to do with the living.

  1. A hunter must always hunt. Not the hunter being hunted. Therefore a hunter must always know what is their hunt. They need to have this objective in mind all the time. Same goes to us. Everyday we wake up, what is our objective?

  2. Now you know why Wingz always come out with AhBeng jokes or not? He sibeh beh song1 AhBeng already.
  3. You tell me lar

Don’t Do It - To No Avail

Down Memory Lane 1 Comment

“After I told them that was not acceptable, they went right ahead and did it.”

 James Cameron

Recalling the times I babysit my nephews and nieces, I enjoy being with them. It makes me feel like kids once more. Young. Innocent. Vibrant. Carefree. They have no worries what the current world is having about. Only know about playing and crying and fighting and seeking attention.

Back then when they were young and curious, they tend to like to do things when we told them not to. Just like when I told them, don't play with fire. What they did? They go and play with it. I have this niece whom now studying in secondary school once did a thing we asked her not to. She was only 4 years old back then. My aunt and uncle operate a stall. Food stall to be exact. Selling grilled stuff, which we need to have hot and spicy stuff as sauces. Hence, we have to grind the chili, lime, and some other trade secret ingredients that makes the chili sauce one of the best in Setapak, some say Gombak as well.

chilis.JPGOnce fine day, she was sitting next to my aunt and me handpicking the good chili and separating the bad ones. Somehow, she managed to grab herself the chili and stuffed into her mouth. We was like flabbergasted when she chewed on it. A few times later, she stopped. Her facial expression changed. Tears forming at her eyes. The rest was history. We took hours and hours to get rid of the hotness at her lips and she ever since dare not touch the chili anymore.

I guess it's human nature to do things what they aren't suppose to do. The challenge and defying the authority. Like "No Smoking" and literally you see aplenty smoking around. When you told them "Do Not Touch" they go and touch. Reminds me of a friend of mine, where his gf asked him to use a bag which he choose not to. Nevermind but when asked him to pull out, he insisted to stay inside. What to do? "Kao Chut Yan Meng"1 and the rest is history.

The rules say that we can blog anything under the sun. My category is "Under The Sun" hence that will increase my chances by 0.012% to get selected. What else. No link or mention Nuffnang is necessary. Meaning that I don't need to do like this "Nuffnang is giving free ticket for Pirate of the Carribbean 3". Even if you do, that won't help to increase the chances also. *I do hope there will be also 0.003% chances increase*

First cum first served basis? Aijor.. terlambat to post dah. Gone.

On the frontline

Under the Sun No Comments

Being the salesperson, my boss always tell me that we are the company frontline. We are the one that will be the first to deal with the customer. Anything goes wrong, you have to face the music first. Hence, time punctuality has become a need, which now I think going to become my habit. Hopefully few years down the road will be my nature.

Just on this day itself, I was given another trial. To meet the stipulated deadline. When it says deadline, it means if you cross the line, you are dead. After yesterday discussion with the customer, I have to go back to office in the evening and work my ass off to get the things done so I could get back to him the next morning, which is today @ 10am. Since the customer is good mood this morning, he allows me to extend the deadline to 12noon. Hence, the documents have to delivered to him before 12noon.

After finalization with my boss this morning, we left with approximately 57 minutes before the time struck 12. Messing with the grumpy printer, I wasted nearly 10 minutes trying to get the documents as well as the disc ready. Nice. The time was 1122 hour. Still have the time to rush out to the customer premise in downtown. Center of the hustle and bustle of the city. Jalan Raja Chulan. Where all the corporate offices are. The so-called Central.

Engine started. Time was 1124 hour, with every seconds ticking away, I sped to the Taman Cahaya to go to the Central via the Ampang-KL Elevated Highway. Also known as Elevated Highway or AKLEH. I entered the AKLEH approximately at 1137 hour. With the coast is clear and less traffic, I step in my accelerator and go all the way straight to the end of the road. Exact location was not given. Which floor and to whom I need to submit these to? Quickly, I took out my mobile and make a call with the eyes on the wheel. Manage to SMS as well. That's multitasking for you to do.

Exited the AKLEH at 1141 hour, I turned into Jalan Sultan Ismail. Traffic was slow with bumper to bumper ride for the next 10 minutes until I turned right, entering Jalan P.Ramlee whereby the Shangri-la Hotel is at my right side. Further up junction, I made a turn to left entering Jalan Raja Chulan. From there, my customer is located just at my left side. I need to find parking. Time was 1155 hour with 5 minutes to spare. Shit! No parking.

Next option, making a turn to the back of the building. Should be having ample of parking space there, I comforted myself. Yes, there's one slot left but the time already ticking so fast. 1157 hour with the room of 3 minutes to park the car. More than enough. By the time I entered the lift, it was 1200 hour sharp. Lift was slow. It took me additional a minute and 12 seconds to reach the 10th Floor.

I managed to submit in, but 1 minute and 12 seconds too late. I apologized to the customer for being late. He was cool with it and we sit down for business. The outcome? Still have another final round this coming Friday. Maybe another rush hour again?

By the way, it's 39 minutes to 12 midnight. Before the time struck 12, let's go to dS's blog and wish him a happy bird day too!!!!!

Sense Of Belonging

Food for Thoughts 2 Comments

Do you feel any? Any sense of belonging yet? Wait a minute. I'm not belonging to anyone. So, there's no sense of belonging one. Don't say husband and wife lah. Not even boyfriend/girlfriend relationship also lah.

That's not my point. In fact, I was thinking that everyone seek to be part of something. Like the other day during a tender clarification, my colleague found out that there are some Penangites in the room so he quickly announce that he is Penang kia. Wah, quickly find the sense of belonging with them. Can relate and find a common acceptance level. At least they won't hold back to him since he is also Penang 'lang'1. But one thing for sure which everyone in the room agreed upon. Penangites "sibeh"2 "kiam siap"3. Hahaha….

Just like the other day when I had lunch with my customers, I realized that one of them was also from Setapak High. Something to relate to. Then the conversation starts going on and on. So much to talk about and suddenly, there's no barrier anymore. There's no longer a wall between because both also Setapakians. Hehe!!! Indeed, and he even asked me to bring my school magazine when I drop by his office next time. Wow, can't even imagine that being able to relate to someone can actually bridge the gap.

Just like football, when Kenny and CKYeo was discussing about Manchester United, there's seem endless topic to talk about. Suddenly become buddies. That's because they both belong to Man U. But what if you can't? Just learn lor. Like my manager shared to me that there's this colleague (from her previous company) that knew the boss a huge fan of Man U. What he does was the next day, his desktop wallpaper become Man U Wallpaper, and start talking about Man U matches. The boss noticed him and then, he was quickly promoted. *Please be advise that this is not encouraged*

How about blogging? How do you relate to the blogger? You simply go up to the person and told him/her that you are a big fan of him/her. Read the blog daily and tell the whole world you know them. *yeah right* So fake! Do at your own risk.
