As most local bloggers knew that in my recent posts, I ‘hoot’ LinPeh so much that he hold vengeance in me. Therefore, one fine day he asked me out for lunch nearby his castle. I also didn’t expect that the lunch will turn out to be a table talk.
He was getting himself a Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang and myself a Assam Laksa. He pretend to bring me to the restaurant that only serve local spicy food. I was like … “wtf!! challenge ah?” Nevermind, after the lunch we proceed to have the table talk with NDP (Non-disclosure person). Since LinPeh is gentleman enough, he asked what kind of sport I am good at.
Knowing that Linpeh’s background was from athletic family. Father doing muscle building, mother do gymnast and siblings….. need to mentioned? Well, so I’m sure LinPeh with his age and wisdom, sure never had the exposure from playing the computer games. So, I told him that how about cyber sports? Cyber game like WCG (World Cyber Game) Championship?
Linpeh suddenly quiet and think for a minute or two. Then, he asked me “what kind of game you had in mind?” I giving him an evil grin and replied, “Anything as long as it’s computer games, I’m all out”. He replied “Are you sure?” and of course, my reply is “Yeah, just name it…Don’t say I never give chance to you. Just choose anything and I can beat you to it.”
Linpeh from his dull and concerned looks now morphed into vibrant and excited face. It seems that he like won the DaMaCai lottery of RM15million like that. He told me “Let’s play Tetris”. I was like, “huh? You sure?”
Linpeh suddenly laugh hysterically and said “You know or not, you think I so old one never play computer games ah? I played before when I was young. My era at that time, the most advanced game was Tetris. And for your kind information, I played 3 days and 3 nights just to break 5 digits score. No breaks for meals, sleeps and even shitting. So, the challenge starts now… an chua?” (an chua in hokkien means how now)
So, should I or shouldn’t I accept Linpeh’s challenge in Tetris?
