Often, the question asked was whichever come first. The Chicken and egg question. It has been clouded the scientists and experts from all walks of life to answer such question "Chicken or Egg" comes first. However, thanks to the most intelligent being on the face of Earth, ehm, Rojaks, we able to rest the case. It's the Chicken that comes first since C for chicken appeared before E as in Egg.
Since that question has been answered, today we are going to ponder about the next question. Chicken or Pig. Which of them are more dedicated and put not only their best foot forward but their entire self. I would say its the pig. Anyone who had eggs and ham for breakfast knew that the eggs come from the chicken and the ham comes from the pig.
Do you know that in order for one to have their breakfast of eggs and ham, the chicken and pig were involved. The pig is not only involved but at the same time committed to it. That's why we could have our ham.
You see, there are two totally different when it comes to involvment and commitment. Anyone can come into involvement of things in life but to stay committed means one have to put their heart, their soul and their life in it. That's where came the "esprit de corp" The brotherhood doesn't come by itself when no one is committed to it.
This reminds me of the recent incident I shared with my colleague. I told him that since the kick-off occurs during the absence of few key members which is inevitable, I shared with him that I do messaged them to inform about the event. Hence, I required them if possible to get back to me so we could go through internally before proceeding with the kick off later. I asked them to return to office despite their holiday which he informed me that no one wants to come back to office on their leave day.
That's where when I shared with him about the eggs and ham story. If one stays committed, they'll know what to do and what's sorts of distance they shall go. After all, the choice are theirs to made.
Just for the thought, for everything you do - just get involved or committed? You know the best.
