Little did I know what was happening but I saw on my msn - FUCK! Maybank2u going to charge RM10/month. The first thought that came into my mind was that what the hell is happening? That’s going to cost me RM120 per year. And just for paying bills online and making few transaction will cost me that much of amount? How about those just use it once or twice a year? this can’t be it… its a rip off.
First of all, all of the banks in this country operates 5 days a week. 8.30am to 4pm. With majority is working during this period, how do we have the time to go to the bank physically? Now that the other option we have was the machines provided for our use, for example ATMs, Cash Deposit Machine and even Cheques Deposit often goes out of order, we have to resort to the online system - namely over the Internet.
With more and more online users that relying for example the Maybank2u.com.my, they decided to put on the charges for usage of its online system. I thought it is suppose to be a value added service since the bank operates 5 days a week, and it serves to ease their customers!!!! I could be wrong. yeah right. WTF!!!
Fine. I’ve come to conclusion. boycott!!!

You are also responsible for any fees and charges imposed by any Network Service Provider.
18.3 Subject to the Account Terms of your Account(s), you acknowledge that the Bank reserves the right to debit your relevant Account(s) for any amounts due under clause 18.1, 18.2 and any Government charges, stamp duties or taxes payable as a result of the use of the Internet Banking Services.
