Little did I know what was happening but I saw on my msn - FUCK! Maybank2u going to charge RM10/month. The first thought that came into my mind was that what the hell is happening? That’s going to cost me RM120 per year. And just for paying bills online and making few transaction will cost me that much of amount? How about those just use it once or twice a year? this can’t be it… its a rip off.

First of all, all of the banks in this country operates 5 days a week. 8.30am to 4pm. With majority is working during this period, how do we have the time to go to the bank physically? Now that the other option we have was the machines provided for our use, for example ATMs, Cash Deposit Machine and even Cheques Deposit often goes out of order, we have to resort to the online system - namely over the Internet.

With more and more online users that relying for example the Maybank2u.com.my, they decided to put on the charges for usage of its online system. I thought it is suppose to be a value added service since the bank operates 5 days a week, and it serves to ease their customers!!!! I could be wrong. yeah right. WTF!!!

Fine. I’ve come to conclusion. boycott!!!

Last week, my friend went for an interview in an multi inter stellar company which scattered all over the 9 planets. During the interview process, he was thrown few questions as below. He couldn’t answer it so he came to me for answer. Since that I believe that the bloggers are the smartest living being on the face of earth due to the existence of Google, so I post the equestions here.

1. If Fed Ex and UPS were to merge, would they call it Fed UP?
2. Do Lipton Tea employees take coffee breaks?
3. If olive oil comes from olives, where does baby oil come from?
4. If people from Poland are called Poles, why aren’t people from Holland called Holes?
5. Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery? OOpps…
6. Why is the man who invests all your money called a broker?
7. If horrific means to make horrible, does terrific mean to make terrible?
8. Why is it called building when it is already built?
9. If a book about failures doesn’t sell, is it a success?
10. If you’re not supposed to drink and drive, then why do bars have parking lots?
11. If you take an Oriental person and spin him around several times, does he become disoriented?
12. If vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?
13. If working hours are meant for working, then why are you reading this???

It keeps reminding me that I need to focus. Don't be so greedy. So, just like they said we cannot serve two masters. Only one. We have to pick a stand. Whichever lies the best. 

How to stand focused? Simple. Do one thing at a time. Don’t be greedy.

For the first time in Malaysia, the first blog ads community Nuffnang organized an outing for bloggers as most of us familiar with, the screening of the Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - At World’s End at the Cathay Cineplex Damansara. It turned out to be a great success with the appearance of those celebrity bloggers such as PaulTan, Suanie, ShaolinTiger, FireAngel, Rojaks, KidChan - The Wedding Photographer, Kimberychun, Zewt, and Jolene to name a few. Thanks & Kudos to Boss Stewie from Nuffnang for the free tickets and the food/drinks sponsor - Exabytes.

As for the movie itself, I would personally rate 8.5 out of 10 - for the overall. Yet, I missed out the short clip after the credits due to the 3 hours long length which makes me wanted to take a leak so desperately. It was the Walt Disney style which ended up happily ever after, with the next generation of the Turner family. As for the pirates, there will be never ending story between our favourite Captian Jack Sparrow and the Captain of the Black Pearl - Barbossa. Maybe another spin off with two of them going after the Fountain of Youth?

Following up from the event, few other bloggers whom unable to make to the screening asked me about the event. How does it turn out to be and who is who there? Most of them would asked about the man who created a big hoo-ha from the last March blogger party - Endroog. One of the undisclosed blogger asked me whether the guy was there for the screening and did he get an opportunity from Nuffnang to give his long awaited speech - Majulah Blogging Untuk Negara. I didn’t see him around… does anyone?

To conclude this, I personally strongly believe that this year, Year 2007 is the year of bloggers in Malaysia. With the opening of the bloggers party in March, and this blogger movie outing, we can expect more of these events or similar to come up soon.

Just for disclaimer purpose, and to set things straight…. the one month bonus thing is copy and paste from an email being forwarded. Hence, I have no idea where does it originated from

It doesn’t matter because the main important is that do you get your 1 (one) month bonus every year? But the question was that are we being paid bonus? Is the 1 month bonus is what we actually deserve? I don’t know because I don’t have bonus one. Not at all.

Why is there a 13 month bonus when its really isn’t a bonus? The mystery is finally revealed! When the British were in Malaya, they were being paid weekly and they argued that locals were actually being cheated into believing that the 13th month pay is a bonus.

Locals were being paid monthly which is equivalent to 4 weeks pay because there are 4 weeks in a month. As the British were paid weekly, it worked out to the same. You see, there are 7 days in a week. 4 weeks in a month. 12 months in a year. Then 12 months should work out to 48 weeks only. But 1 year worked out to 52 weeks!!! Hence the 13th month is your own pay (not bonus??!!).

So, the British argued that there is in fact no bonus at all??? It is a very simple calculation that stunned many!!!!

BONUS ??? What bonus??? … !!!

The last whole week, SkyKeepYou always getting sleepy and caught him doozing off in the office. So one day, his boss asked him why that he always like that. Seems lack of sleep. Asked him what he do at night. Here’s his answer to his boss and the boss also laff at him

He told me and Wingz over the other night that the sleepless night is due to his conversation with his girlfriend, Ah Lian over the phone….

AhLian (AL): u wanna sleep d ar?? (again?)
SKY: nolah.. what could be more important than u..i no talk to u whole day liao.. but feels like ages..miss u so much.. i love u (get some nice words from chicken soup book)
AL: (happier).. lie lah.. ok lah.. sleepy tell me ok..
SKY: okok! we chat a while more ok..
AL: ok!
SKY: aiyah.. very shit la.. ahWing, Kenny and Golfnick ajak me go play golf tomoro 5am woh.. (think of the earliest n most reasonable time).. so early..duno can wake up or not tim..
AL: dun go loh then..(yesterday football, today basketball, tomoro sure baseball one lah)
SKY: (smack on the head.. sei lor.. y today different phrase geh..).. cannot.. not shud go or !not.. i scared tomoro no tenaga¹ play ar.. need enuf sleep ma..
AL: then r.. sleep earli loh..(merajuking)²
SKY: then u how r??
AL: dun worry bout me.. u sleep la DARLING..ok! goodnight..(talking very very sweet)
SKY: goodnight (blessing) (my dream came true..now i can sleep peacefully)

AL: then I shall call AceOne to chit chat..(gals aso quite smart leh) (AceOne is SKY’s greatest enemy..also like ah lian one)
SKY: (wat the F%^%$) ma foo lat!!! you call him for wut?
AL: nothing la.. i boring ma.. u sleep so i call him chit chat loh.. so long no call him liao.. siu siu MISS HIM tim..(wahahahah)
SKY: (tiu, ham ka ling, cebai, farker) actually i not that sleepy aso..
AL: har?? not sleepy?? tomoro u got golf game with them woh..(acting innocent)
SKY: (sounds abit angry)they all not important.. i chat wit u.. u no nid call that F MOTHER!
AL: ooo.. ok loh then.. we chat sin loh.. what wanna talk about?
SKY: [eyes going to close] anything.. u like..
AL: oh. . yesterday i go sunway pyramid.. i buy this padini skirt.. a green color shirt n bla bla bla den i got mid valley buy…. bla bla.. then i go KLCC buy… bla bla…. offer ar..RM 300 plus oni..(600 words)
SKY: what! ma foo lat!!! pasar malam aso got lah.. buy 1 free 5 ar..[eyes closing]
AL: cheh! AceOne say pasar malam one not good ar.. the quality cloth tak baik..(i noe u closing eyes d)
SKY: (AceOne again.. dun let me c him).. aiyah..then u like loh..
AL: then AceOne say i wear the padini skirt very beautiful woh..(wahaha)
SKY: (fully awake in great shock, with his eyes wide opened) WHEN HE C U?
AL: just now loh.. in lot 10..
SKY: (ah diu lor…. get the fark outha here) y u go with him one??
AL: u aso duwan go with me.. yday u sleep..AceOne call me.. ajak me chut kai kai ma..
SKY: (feels that he has no place in her heart anymore).. i LOVE U…. AH LIAN
AL: thank you.. i sleepy loh..goodnight lah
SKY: (happier abit but angry n moodless) ooo.. ok la.. goodnite..

Ah Lian sleep happily.. Being so evil.. SKY kenot sleep.. thinking the gf will be dirampas³ AceOne anytime.. not in peace.. aihz!

A friend the other day told me that knowledge is power. I told him bluntly that knowledge is not power until one applies it. Knowledge without proper application has no use for anyone. It just serves as an information. Just like the data stores inside a harddisk. Without a program or an application to run it, presenting it in a way that on can understand, it just serves as a raw data. Nothing else.

One can know everything. Be it master of all knowledge yet none applied serve no usefulness to the mankind.  

Yes. once again, the story got halted. Yours truly, that’s me - Dale is having is bugger blogger brain block once again. Thanks to the endless procastination in his life. When things piled up, he went into “cookoo” state again. Mindless and brainless. Thank you.

Partly because I getting myself a little hectic, in which this case is good. This is due to the good news from work. Manage to secure few deals and at least able to meet the management expectation for this year. So, now I need to bring myself to work even faster, that I have my next pipeline ready for next year. Learnt from Singam that make hay while the sun shines.

I need to sleep.
