I owe a good friend of mine to post about this story. It’s all about how does the story of perseverance and endurance. One person can at times really felt into comfort zone and sit back relax. Thus eventually forgotten about striving forward to a greater height. Things happened when we took things for granted. It’s my first attempt to compose a story to this friend of mine. Totally new which I suddenly wanted to share about.
Long long time ago, when there wasn’t much car around. Besides the infamous Model-T, in Malaysia we got a young engineer whom inspired to be the next Asia’s Henry Ford. His name was Ah Beng and the following will be the story of him and his first and ultimate car – the BootBootCar. After spending tedious time and effort in engineering, Ah Beng finally come up with the most powerful car in the history of car makers at that time.
BootBootCar had its own mind and thought. Everyday, he would travel around the city. Being young and energetic, he superseded most of the vars available. BootBootCar was the top notch at that time. There was one time, he attempted to climb the Mt. Kinabalu – the tallest mountain in South East Asia. So, he and several of his friends drove themselves the way to the location and speed all the way up. He grew tired and rested at the checkpoint while awaits for the rest of his friends to reach up.
After awhile he got tired of waiting for them, hence he decided to carry on his journey up the peak. Since he stalled and losing his momentum, he needed to regain the lost momentum. Before he can moved an inch up, he had to slide down a little before going up again. Theoretically the curve will be like this.
It’s like jumping. Before once can jump, the knees needed to be bend and compressed to release later on. We need to go down before we go up. In life, we also needed to get down first before we can reach another height. To my friend, what you undergo right now is just the transition period. Yes. Tough time never last, tough people do.
