Instead of being confused, Confucius will not only con you but share on the philosophy of life.
He had influenced most Asian countries from China, Japan, Korea and Vietnam. Even in the history, Confucius’ thoughts have been developed into a system of philosophy known as Confucianism. It’s more considered as a lifestyle instead of the religion.
Most of his valuable guide can be obtained from the Confucian Analects. There’s one version translated by James Legge. It comes along with the Chinese character from earlier scripture.
One of my favourite quote from him is as below:-
I am not one who was born in the possession of knowledge; I am one who is fond of antiquity, and earnest in seeking it there.
