No Crack Lah~!! But Bloggers Should Not Slack

After reading this, I came to know there are few things we need to keep in mind.

“There is no special decision to go against bloggers but citizens must be aware that there are laws in this country,” he said, when commenting on the police report lodged against the Malaysia Today website yesterday by Umno information chief Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib.

Adhere to rules & regulations my fellow bloggers.

Last week, Parti Keadilan Rakyat information bureau staff Nathaniel Tan was remanded to facilitate investigations under the Official Secrets Act (OSA) as he was believed to be in possession of documents linked to Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Johari Baharom’s alleged involvement in corruption.

Facilitate means to help out… Not being accused.

“You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone”
- Al Capone

Alphonse Gabriel Capone (January 17, 1899 – January 25, 1947), popularly known as “Scarface” Al Capone, was an American gangster who led a crime syndicate dedicated to the illegal trafficking of alcoholic beverages during the time of prohibition in the 1920s and 1930s. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Neapolitan emigrants Gabriele and Teresina Capone, he began his career in Brooklyn before moving to Chicago and becoming the boss of the criminal organization known as the Chicago Outfit (although his business card reportedly described him as a used furniture dealer).[1]

By the end of the 1920s, Capone had gained the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation following his being placed on the Chicago Crime Commission’s “public enemies” list. Although never successfully convicted of racketeering charges, Capone’s criminal career ended in 1931 when he was indicted and convicted by the federal government for income tax evasion.

His quote is often used to reminds us that being kind and compassionate is a must. Even when we had the authority within. That act will eventually lift us up. Just relating to my recent incident that I did something fairly bad but my boss with her authority can get me fired did not do so. Instead, she gives me chances and opportunity to redeem myself.

So, what is our action when it comes to that given that we had the authority in hand? Abuse it?

Garfield had Pooky.
Linus with his blanket.
Calvin and Hobbes – the stuffed tiger.

When we were kids, we will have our own kind of stuff that we cling on to. Something we believe in that the items provide us security. We had emotions and feelings upon those things. I’ve asked a few, and I came to know a few who had. I myself personally do have one too. It might be embarassing to talk about stuff like that. But hey, it’s something personal okay~!
