It’s been a while since my last update on the dota matches that I used to play with my friends. Well, the reason I find it’s time to blog about it is because I found free wi-fi access at my housing area. So, hooked to the free wi-fi and then access it leh.

Anyway, coming back to the match which I played just now after 1 whole week not touching it which gives me plenty of satisfaction. This is because I won the match despite 4 vs 5. My team consists of Chaos Knight, Sniper, Tiny (me) and Mirana going against the others which make up of Zeus, Vengeful Spirit, Juggernaut, Orge Magi and Razor.

In the beginning, I got pawned hard by both VS and Jugger. First blood and on dying streaks. Got killed by them many times since i was at the top lane. Nonetheless, I farmed sufficient gold later of the game. I up the first and second skills, which is the stun and toss. And after that focusing most of the stats. I need more hp to farm faster for the Dagger of Escape.

In the end, I ended up beyond Goldlike!!!!!! chasing from 0-5 to 11-5 k/d.
Guess tonight I will have a pleasant dream.

The Boss and You

surprisingly when I was talking to my colleague that I found out that everything seems nice and peaceful in the past few days. We were enjoy the work and being in work too. Then I found out that it was because my boss was on leave. He was away for a holiday and then, working without the presence of the boss can be both good and bad at the same time.

First, we might be enjoying the work very much since the boss not around to monitor us. We do things with much great joy. Maybe the pressure from the boss is not there. However, this absence of the boss might caused us to be slacking at work. We just take our own sweet time doing the job.

So, it happens not just between me and my colleague. However, my customer also felt the same when his big boss going on a Christmas leave. He added that the when the boss on leave then there wouldn’t be much of the issue that caused more work for him? The endless piles of tasks to be done within a short period of time. As this is to fulfill certain KPI of the company.

Come to think about it, anyone ever wondering what is the main reason behind all these? Mentality issue or is it the matter of the different roles of the employer/employees. In the end, who we work to please? the boss or ourselves. Somehow in a way or another, I believe that there should be certain empowerment required to the staff. It makes us felt we are in control and part of the company. Lest to think about it that when we feel good, the company in the end will benefit from it.

Oh well, I have nothing else to say. Maybe I shall wait for people of course such as blog thinkers to tell me more behind all this…

its been a while since i last do tag. Time running short. Oh well, everyone says that each of us given standard 24 hours and it is up to us how we going to make full use of it. Just reminded that i wasted another 4 hours sleeping when the sun rise and shine in the morning. I slept till the sun rise up high on my head. Hehe.. i slept pass 1.00pm when my colleague called.

start to the random tag, which I have to write 8 facts about me. randomly? but how random is random? I couldn’t pull anything of my idle brain yet but as the way I look at it, the thing that randomly crossed my mind was dog. Yes. I was watching the making of “I AM LEGEND” and I saw the cute puppy Sam. In addition to that was Wingz linked me in one of his joke post which related to the dog food. Hence, it ain’t random after all because everything happened for a reason. I like to have a dog as pet because I used to have them. My favorite pet named “White B” as he had white fur. He’s very lovely and I always reminisce the times I bring him out for a walk. Then when I felt down, he was there accompany me listening to my rants and ramblings. He died die to some illness and was put to sleep to stop his suffering.

I studying in St. Ronan kindergarten when I am only 4 years old. There, I found out many friends that were also studying in St. Ronan when I entered Setapak High. Found out were we from the same kindergarten too. My buddy Wilson is also from St. Ronan. Can all the St. Ronanians, please stand up? Please stand up?

I enjoy watching Chinese ancient martial art drama series. I grew up watching all these sort of movies with my cousin brother, Tak. He introduced me to the world of kung fu especially when we continuously chasing the releases of each episode from the TVB. From Louis Cha (JinYong) to Gu Long (Xiong Yaohua) and many more, I fancied the beauty of each martial arts and the characters from those stories. Now, the Chinese ancient arts stories getting lame when it comes to TVB production. Ain’t much gist from the story writer nowadays. Better watch anime as the story is way much more interesting such as Bleach.

The 4th random fact I should state here since I am talking about the martial arts is that I still read the translate Hong Kong comic - “Fung Wan” or “Stormriders” or in translated to Malay is known as “Pedang Setiawan” I have the collection from episode 1 till date. Another best friend of mine, Tony wanted to scanned all these to digital format as for safekeeping sine that the paper might not able to withstand the time.

Another random fact I can state is that for this 5th fact, I have been composing and deleting every single words since the beginning. It is due to the fact that I couldn’t make up my mind. Yes, I am sucks in that. So, when it comes to the moment of decision, better go ahead and don’t ask me. I need longer time to made decision or given that statement, I might make decision in haste. Hasty I can be at times of constraint.

I am master of procrastinators. I am better than Lisan in terms of procrastinate. For example in terms of being punctual, I procrastinate till the exact time then I will be going out. Let’s take the latest procrastination which has been taken place yesterday. I was suppose to help out as the logistics minister and I need to be there early. However, due to the nature of me, I procrastinated long enough when I suppose to be there at 9.00am, I leave my house at 8.50am in hope to reach there at on time.

am addicted to Scrabble in the Facebook. Been playing the scrabulous with Carolyn and she kicked my ass real time. Big time too as well. So, the fact which is randomly here is that I sucks

I was having dinner with my housemate last night when we were approached by a nightline newspaper seller. The first sentence he said was “Flood, Interesting to read. Want to buy?”

A lot of things to read, he added. To my dismay, I told him that I am illiterate. I don’t know how to read hence he just walked away. My housemate was like… “what’s wrong with him? flood hitting and its very funny meh?” Frankly, the climate in Malaysia changed. There was nothing called year end flash flood or something like that. Maybe after the tsunami everything changed. Indeed, change is inevitable. So, are we going to have a flash flood donation drive again whereby we won’t know in the end where is the money goes to?

With the natural disaster like this (which we don’t have it for many many years ago), what shall we do? I recalled last year Earl-ku did travel down to Johor with his 4×4 teams to provide relief to the needy ones. I also had some insight what it was like in Johor last year. One of my friends was there volunteering to provide relief. They prepared food for more than 200 persons in their area which was flooded.

Just a minute ago I received yet another sms. This time it involved a silver colour kelisa with car plate number BHC9814.

inside the sms also stated the contact number if anyone saw that car. A girl was abducted/kidnapped (again!!). What does it implying? It’s no longer safe anymore to let your daughter out?

What is Lanfar?

In cantonese, as I check with some friends it means play the prank or pulling one’s leg.

Hence, I discover there’s actual company registered under the name LANFAR.

Does it mean the company’s main operation is to pull people’s leg?

My colleague invited me for the free movie tickets screening @ the Pavilion. GSC was offering few movies and 4 of us went there for the movies. We watched Spiderman for the 7.15pm slot and for the 2nd slot, we have to 2 tickets for the Secret starring Jay Chou and the other is the is french movie, Priceless.

I watched the Secret with another colleague whereas the other 2 watched the french movie. I told my colleague that it was my first time going to Pavilion and furthermore was joining them We had J.Co donut in between the movies. Since that there’s such big hype about the donuts, we ought to try ourselves to find out. One of my colleague, AW claims that there’s not much different from other donuts. No big deal except its very soft, much fillings and not so sweet.

We bought half dozen from there and finished it before enter for the shows. The other colleague, CL bought another half dozen from there but was stopped from entering the cineme. Note : the cinema was just started and the air conditioning wasn’t that cold yet. Now I heard it was very very cold at night. We were sweating through the both movie. The ticket attendent stopped him and requested him to leave the box at the counter so he could collect from them after the movie. That caused him to forget to pick up later and we went back to the cinema after we almost reach to the parking lot. More walking for me.

The queue was long and we waited for 5-10 minutes. I lost count when I saw the numbers of donuts for my taste buds. Yummy…. and it was very hard to make the choice which to pick. Imagine whether I should get half dozen or 1 dozen? But nonetheless, I will go there again when the one at the Sunway opened for business.

How can you choose among those?

Look at how hygiene are they when preparing the donuts.

Don’t know when I shall go there again for the donut. Anyone? Movie and Donut again? Btw, I am looking forward for the sequel of Narnia - Prince Caspian.
