Liquid Paper and Joe

Under the Sun 2 Comments

Lately I keep refreshing an incident few years back. Or many years back in the first year of my secondary school at Setapak High. Inside my class, I had this classmate of mine by the name of Joe (name has been changed to protect the innocent). Often, he is kind of cool to hang around with. Right now I have no idea his whereabout. The last heard was he been addicted to drugs.

Hence, I wonder if all these time what we did to him were the root caused for him being into such a deep shit. It begins with a innocent intention. He wanted to hang with few friends and I. Most of all, the guys in my class were pretty cool. He wanted to be part of the gang. I wasn’t sure the main deal of it but one fine day, he came to tell us that there is this stationery shop whereby he can shoplift before coming to school.

He admitted that he had been stealing few liquid papers. Hence, in order to prove to us we requested him to get it more. Get one each for few of us. He told us that he needed some sort of distraction to distract the cashier lady. Thus our help was really needed. I didn’t turn up when he performed the act. But he did manage to steal unscathed. Not being able to be caught and later of the week, he bring the liquid paper to give it to few of the school kids. I didn’t get any from him.

A year after that, he seems like drifting away from school. Spending more time with the alike and finally, he is out of sight. At times, I do wonder if it was the our friends that encouraged him to took the wrong path of life. Become a wicked and crooked man. *sigh*

As I writing this post, I was wondering if the word liquid paper is an acceptable form of saying correction fluid. Not until I google it and found out the history of it – from the Wiki

Ah Pek, how’s ur sex life?

Under the Sun No Comments

After reading the article from the BBC, I couldn’t resist but wanted to ask Ahpek.

NEW YORK – Maybe men had it right all along: It doesn’t take long to satisfy a woman in bed. A survey of sex therapists concluded the optimal amount of time for sexual intercourse was 3 to 13 minutes. The findings, to be published in the May issue of the Journal of Sexual Medicine, strike at the notion that endurance is the key to a great sex life.

If that sounds like good news to you, don’t cheer too loudly. The time does not count foreplay, and the therapists did rate sexual intercourse that lasts from 1 to 2 minutes as “too short.”

Researcher Eric Corty said he hoped to ease the minds of those who believe that “more of something good is better, and if you really want to satisfy your partner, you should last forever.”

The questions were not gender-specific, said Corty (who, it must be noted, is male). But he said prior research has shown that both men and women want foreplay and sexual intercourse to last longer.

Dr. Irwin Goldstein, editor of the Journal of Sexual Medicine, cited a four-week study of 1,500 couples in 2005 that found the median time for sexual intercourse was 7.3 minutes. (Women were armed with stopwatches.)

It’s difficult for both older men and young men to make sexual intercourse last much longer, said Marianne Brandon, a clinical psychologist and director of Wellminds Wellbodies in Annapolis, Md.

“There are so many myths in our culture of what other people are doing sexually,” Brandon said. “Most people’s sex lives are not as exciting as other people think they are.”

Fifty members of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research in the U.S. and Canada were surveyed by Corty, an associate professor of psychology at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, and student Jenay Guardiani. Thirty-four members, or 68 percent, responded, although some said the optimal time depended on the couple.

Corty said he hoped to give an idea of what therapists find to be normal and satisfactory among the couples they see.

“People who read this will say, ‘I last five minutes or my partner lasts 8 minutes,’ and say, ‘That’s OK,’” he said. “They will relax a little bit.”

Is it true since all these while Ahpek has been posting about sex and the stuff… :p

I am freaking sleepy tired.

Why now!!!

Under the Sun No Comments

Questions and plenty of questions to be asked. Or to be battered to say the least.

What on earth are they doing the blog?
Who are they mimicking?
Why start a blog now?
Where you want to end up?

Just so many questions and unanswered questions.

First, we as in the bloggers managed to put another blogger namely Jeff Ooi into the parliament. Then most of the information during the PRU12 or Malaysia 12th General Election were based on the Internet. It is considered fast and effective. Even though the coverage like we would like to believe it is very minimal. There are still majority whom have no access to it. But with those reading it over the web and share it at their favourite mamak stalls, everyone will eventually know about it.

Everyone is relying on the Internet for details especially when the 2 weeks campaign were launched. (at least those I knew of). Hence, the Barisan National suffered a tremendous fatality with the defeats. Unbearable. Some ended up six feet under while the rest still living in denial state. As for the rest, ended up speechless and went into hiding. (Need me to help you to write resignation letter)

So, since the General Election there have been new blogs. Where as last time they labeled and define us as “goblok” or so. If they were to tell us that we are bunch of goblok… hence why they are doing the way of goblok? Just by setting up the blog just will reflect their action and what they say. Hypocrisy? Maybe. In a way.

Mohd. Ali Rustam
Khir Toyo

These two are the one that is incorrigible. What the fark they are doing here. Nonetheless, if anyone stumble upon new blog setup after the General Election and further added they were the sore losers.
