Ponteng Sekolah

Setapak High

It’s been a while since I got some update on the High School stuff. Just last week few of us went out for a Carlsberg night @ Bobo Restaurant. We saw Mr. Tong, whom was our discipline teacher at that time.

We recalled that there’s one of the time trying to ponteng sekolah (skip school), vaguely trying to remember who joined in the action. Since Setapak High have plenty of escape routes, choosing the one next to the old bengkel (workshop) behind the basketball court was the weird one. They have to undergo the small sewer before getting out of the school compound.

By now, all of us were unable to remember who was the last one back out the last minute when everyone has crossed over. Since that time everyone don’t have the mobile phone, we don’t know what happened to the last guy. He just did not manage to cross the sewer?

The next day, we found out that he did not cross over the sewer for the fact that he saw there’s a crocodile waiting for him.

Since when Setapak High got crocodile? After a detailed interrogation, we found out it was not a crocodile but a monitor lizard

*roflmaowmsluita*

On this day..

Your http://hizecool.com/2008/10/23/very-very-senior-setapakian/ post’s comment section is closed. So I comment it here instead:

Grad 1988 meant I was already long gone. I left 1981 when I was in Lower Six.. ;-)

Mr Ho Kok Chew shall retire this year. If you know Mr Seet Wai Lin, Chemistry teacher; she came to my house this past Raya.

Found another young alumnus, Wong Kwong Fei (http://www.kwongfeimind.blogspot.com/), currently at UCSI University. SPM 2005. He interviewed me for the 2005 magazine, which he was Chief Editor.

Yeah. I notice he is very active and very strong spirited Setapakian. maz, i dont think i know any of them. I am between 1995 to 1999.

Yeah, future politician may be that guy.

Mrs Seet had retired early by the time you got to Setapak High, apparently.
