I just got a sms, which I suspect it is being spoofed.
Here’s the content of the SMS:-
“FROM CIMB BANK CARD CENTRE : Kindly call us back at 03-20363888 on your credit card account. Do not reply sms,please call us. Thank you”
SMS Gateway Number : 62006 *belong to maxis*
The phone number seems awkward. It does not even relate to the CIMB Call Centre or any matter that seems relevant. I do not think that the Bank will be so cheapskate asking us to return the call.
On my credit card, the customer relations telephone number is (603) 6204 7788
Could it be a scam?
