Dota-ing with CK for the first time, I notice that he is noob. So noob that he only knows how to kill. Don't know when to pull back the string. Go all the way. I was flabbergasted. Too bad our team does not have any victories in the two matches. 

Maybe used to play with the team, having the teamwork all the time. Therefore when playing in public, each and everyone have their own opinion. Their own agenda, which is kinda hard to work along.

Saturday after servicing my car, joined the gang consist of golfnick, wingz, penny and kenny for a session at driving range. This time, I learnt more than just using my stick to whack the balls. It's matter of eye-hand co-ordination, relax and posture. I was so tensed and stressed that I whacked the balls like I had grudge with the balls. 

At the end of the day, Kenny said that "Golf is always better than masturbation. Everytime you get a good shot, it's like an orgasm." Hence if you get 100 balls for a session and out of 10, you got 1 good shot, then you ended up with 10 good shots. By then, you will have 10 orgasms. Multiple orgasms, which is very good.

So, golf anyone next week?  

Saturday evening was the day I gave my first time to golf. Organized by Wingz and spearheaded by Golfnick, I joined the team consists of Kenny the Rocker, Penny the Chick, CKYeo the Sky and Wingz the Rojaks to Bukit Jalil Golf and Resort. Armed with the Iron 9 club I took from the office, for the first time in my life I hit the nuts golf ball with the stick.

After the 1,000 balls being whacked, we headed for a dinner cum tok kok session in Sri Petaling. Time really flies when you with bunch of bloggers. We talked various of topics from the chemistry to physics to history to future. Almost covered what I've learned from the education system. Concise and compact. Not to forget, geography too. By 11pm, we left the place and thanks to CK, he dropped me at the Berjaya Times Square to catch up with my friends for the second time, watching the Spider-Man 3.

When I woke up on Sunday morning afternoon, I realised that my right arm suddenly gone amiss. Seems that my arm was sore from the continuous whacking of the golf balls the day before. I was too tired to do anything let alone getting up from my bed. I had become a pig.

Yet, I dragged myself to do the errands, and by the time i realised it was evening. Rest for another session and went to Steven's Corner Setapak to meet up with the rest of the gang, LatKyok gang for a game of dota. I came home a happy man. Yes, it was an imbalance game but I enjoyed the winning. It's all matter. 

With my team members of mixture noobs and pro, we were confronted by 4 experience players. Since it was an all pick, I opted for Medusa, with Lina the Slayer, Razor the Revenant Lightning, Sniper and Nevermore in my team. The opposition gathered Broodmother, Death Knight, Viper and Rhasta on the Scrouge side. Since most of my team members with AoE, we manage to push faster as compared to the opposition, despite that we been become the sitting ducks.

I got Death Knight, with Vengeful and Magina  on my team versus Lion, Venomancer and Centaur on the Sentinel side. Halfway, they rematch again due to we actually owned them. 

second match - 4 vs 3 (me being on the 3 peron team)

all was allpick except me. Got cheated whereby initally I thought everyone is going to random. Wtf! I got Oblivion with my mates using Death Knight and Warlock. 

The opposition took Jakiro, Centaur, Lion and Bounty Hunter. The odd? If we were to push early, we could win the game. Nonetheless, we aren't competitive enough at the late game. Bounty owned me. Sigh* Ward was quite useful but couldn't do much there.  

Conclusion? Imbalance game! Hehe 

It has been quite some time since my last visit for a dota. In fact, it was about one full month going without dota. Can’t really define how the experience like but when manage to curb the addiction, it was good. But too bad from one addiction to another. Now, when both also doesn’t want you back anymore, where can you turn to?

Enough with my current addiction as two days ago, I re-visited dota again. After a tough time dealing with loneliness at home. I was home early the other day around 8pm. Nothing much stored for me at home, I went out to meet the gang. The dota gang. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the game. What not, I won the two matches in a 3 vs 4 with me in the lesser teammates.

However, the next day I ended up losing the game. It was due to my arrogrance for using -random mode whereby all the rest are playing -ap. Big mistake. I got rhasta from the random and we just lack of good late game heroes. Well, it was a good game after all.

But in the end, it doesn’t mean much to me anymore. Whether it is winning or not. Just the company of my friends make it easier for me to get through the rest of the days.

One thing I found out is that nowadays, players tend to abuse the arcane ring. For unlimited mana. Imagining 3-4 guys having the same arcane rings, with few of them replenish the mana together, it will just fill up their mana pool. Just like the good old version 5.84c whereby abusing the buckler.

Ward is getting cheaper and with plenty of money giving out for each towers, one can just get the ward easily. I recalled that I bought 10 wards just to counter SA. However, to much dismay they have 3 stunners in their team. Oh well. maybe next time.

A friend of mine im-ed me this morning. He was asking about getting new hero to win fight with LoA (Lord of Avernus) aka Death Knight. Since this hero have Aphotic Shield and Borrowed Time, it seems totally impossible to gank and kill.

Therefore, he wanted to learn new heroes to counter this LoA. Hard to say to him that I since ever become so noob. I unable to provide a proper guidelines to help him. Nonetheless, the only hero that can perform instant kill is the Mogul Khan with his ultimate.

Does not matter but more crucially is that he wanted me to keep it low profile as he told me that most of the players started to take it too personally. Dota is seems to be part of their life. I don’t know why but some seems to take it wayyyy to seriously. Now, they planning to go for the WoW. Sigh*

How it applies? Simple. In dota, there’s this hero by the name of Phantom Lancer. He had a passive skill by the name of “Juxtapose” Namely he will create an image of himself at a certain percentage level. This image can multiply itself and also the real character too up to 12 images total.

Meaning that they create an image of each other and putting side by side? Ehm.. intriguing. In fact, I learned more vocabulary from dota. See, after all one can learn a good and bombastic words from there.

In fact, I think the latest hero Dazzle ultimate is totally imbalance. Imagine the cooldown period as well as the chances of respawn time. Imagining a 5 on 5 with 3 heroes with Shallow Grave on. It will took them around 20% off the normal time to respawn whereby the the opponents took the total of 100% and inclusive of 450 damage upon killing those with Shallow Grave. My friend suggested that there can be only one person at a time to be casted with Shallow Grave or there’s a certain period for the Shallow Grave.

On the other hand, since getting of a blueserver account is considered a luxury whereby you need to answer 10 freaking tough questions and getting 5 “clean” players to recommend you. Look, the meaning of “clean” means that you have never been on the banlist. That’s why we opted for Zion Server. Alternative option for Blueserver. On top of that, the beauty is that you cannot be banned from the Zion server.

A brief introduction of Zion Server is that they are runing on mIRC Server. Using IRC Network as Gaming Zone. One need to install the mIRC with Zion scripting as well. Then, can be played just like that. There are plenty of the Singaporeans in the Zion server. Last night game was with a plenty of Singnet and Pacnet. 100Mbps and more. Their bandwidth and latency are like crazy. I in the other hand lagging like nobody business. Got killed also don’t know why. *I smell LanCraft*

again, i currently sitting with my kaki dota. they plan to have a session of dota. version 6.38b with few new items and a new hero.

one of fav items for melee will be the valdmir which can be use to stack along with other orb effect items since its aura based. and its 16% lifesteal. but crow? wats the use? bird with turbo speed? haven’t try that tho’

however, comparison between the sapphire flask and tree for replenish hitpoint i believe that tree replenish have better edge. just i prefer use flask on juggernaut as faster tho’.

It was a 3on4 game. But technically it’s 2on4. Me and sotongking versus the others kaki. Me Axe and him Sven with another noob teammate using Skeleton King.

Opposition were Zeus, Sniper, Abaddon and Lina. We were at the losing end. Can’t defend once our heroes died. But Axe rox in pwning Abaddon. What items required to make him invinsible?
Opposition have Dagger of Escape. Should i get 1? I have 2 Vanguards, BoT, Battle Fury and BKB. What went wrong…

Bleargh. I lost because we are outnumbered. We win because we stand up to the challenge.
