I was unable to post Chinese wording to the Wordpress when I wanted to post the Chinese lyrics of One Half (一人一半). Ended up when I google there isn’t much information but then it drills down to the version upgrade of my Wordpress.
To solve it, I have to change the config.php as mentioned in the link here
But still, my tag is unable to process the chinese character as I did not change the collation to utf8-unicode. It is still running under the latin_swedish_ic something
The year has come to an end. Everything that was done in this year itself has reached its maturity. Everyone made their resolution for the year 2007. Hoping that they’ll come back providing more thoughts and more insight of what significant they had made for themselves. The changes or improvement they had made over the year.
I was talking to my colleague online what he was doing at this moment. He told me that he is busy preparing his room for the new year. At the same time, he is writing his resolution about the year 2007. He said that the year 2007 was only half completed. He added that everyone need to improves themselves therefore they need to prepare a resolution for next year as well. This reminds me of the post I made for the resolution in 2007. I practically scream everything out of my mind.
Looking back, it was really bad. That time of me, I was really in anger mood. It seems that the whole entire world owes me one million. Now, when I read my own post for the 2007 resolution, I totally agree that this year 2007 I saw a few improvements that I kind of like about myself. (note: masuk bakul angkat sendiri). Anyway, let me trace it down the memory lane of 2007….

In few days more, I will reach the quarter of the century. In recent days, I start to reflecting upon myself. Of what I have become of. Nothing new, nothing old. Just that it gives me the desire to change over a new look.Turning over a new leaf.
That’s why I decided to go green. A little over greenish I would say. Not sure if it soothe the eyes of the readers. But yes, I have again putting new theme over my blog. In which I hope that it will mark a new beginning instead.
Getting paid for blogging isn’t that bad after all. First, we get to make money from it. And with money we bring in happiness. We bring more food to the table. Enough money to feed the people living under the same roof with me.
Many claims that the paid blogs are no longer interesting. They said that I had too much of payperpost that I ended up with no more readership. People no longer come to my blog to read my posts. All of the post seems crappy. I hear you not. I did. I still blog with passion. Just occassionally I had blog block. Seriously, wanting to do a few posts but ended up either procastinate or not much of time around.
Ask AhPek whom are suriving through blogs. He had a whole family to feed. Ask Lilian. She took up paid blogs for her time. Flexibility and able to spend more time with her kids. Ask me. I doing paid post for my gadgets fund. Everyone doing the paid post for money. But what is the money for? Money can buy everything. But money cannot buy time. Blogging can buy you some of the time. Away from the daily travel to office, punching your cards and work your asses off for the rest of 10 hours.
Looking at a bright side. As a Malaysian, we bring in money. Forex. Advertisers from all over the world. It’s a good sign for the country except that I myself also don’t know how the taxation and the income going to take place. :p
Recently I spoke to a blog friend of mine. He was asking about the payperpost I did recently. I told him that I was doing the paid posts with the help of konfucious. One of his remarks was that he still prefer the originality of the existence of blogs. Blogs that come from the passion to share. Share the tits and bits of one’s life. He intend to keep it that way.
Truly agree with his statement. I often think back that the purpose of the existence of my blog. I started with the passion of experimenting. And from there, planning to keep the part and parcel of my life, my memories and my mind in to the Internet. To kept by the WWW. Which will come back and haunt me when I least expect it. Someone might come to me and say “last time you never blog about it this way also.. you have changed”
Irregardless of what the people might view it, it’s just a blog after all. All I wanted is to blog for myself. A form of expression of myself…
Last but not least, last week he told me that he had signed up for paid posts program. He wanted to get extra income for his online gaming purpose. To buy an avatar I think. It is a good sign.
Back in almost 2 years back, I posted an image, work of a colleague. How nice and how cute is the ‘thang’
And after I deleted my previous nucleus, I realized I made a mistake. There are a plenty of stuff besides the text, I need to keep or doing backup. In fact, the recent images traffic that came to my blog was none other than this file name “20050625-ftw.jpg”. It was the image of “Fuck The World”. Didn’t know that there will be one of the favourite search in the google images.
The link that linking to that image was gone, so after the tedious job to find back the image, I finally found it. Here’s what they are looking for
Too bad I can’t find the original picture anymore.
After the advise from Wingz that I might get penalized by search engine for duplicate content, I’ve decided to remove the old nucleus blog since the database is already converted into wordpress.
With the added statcounter, I notice that there are few visitors that dropped by to my site via the rss to hizecool.com/b directory. It just happened to me that I notice keywords that strike my curiosity. I was looking at this “what do i believe? what is faith?” - the keywords that leads to my blog. Did I ever blog something to ponder about faith? Curiously, I searched my blog and found the link - the topic. Its actually copy and paste from an email. It was dated way back in 2005.
My hope is that you live life defined by your own sense of possibility, your own sense of worth, your own sense of your soul. Define yourself for yourself, not by how others are going to define you and then stick to it. Find your own internal compass. I use the term compass, because what does a compass do? When the winds are howling, and the storm raging, and the sky is so cloudy you have nothing to navigate by, a compass tells you where true North is. And I think when you are in a lonely situation, you have to rely on that compass. Who am I? What do I believe? Do I believe I am doing the right thing for the right reason in the best way that I can? Sometimes, that’s all you have. And always, it will be enough.
Most people will judge you by what they see on the outside. Only you and God will know what’s on the inside. But at the end of your life, if people ask you what your greatest accomplishment was, my guess is, it will be something that happened inside you, that no one else ever saw, something that had nothing to do with outside success, and everything to do with how you decide to live in the world.
What you are today is God’s gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to God. He is waiting for that gift right now. Make it something extraordinary.
Let it serve to me as a reminder again, for what I was looking for and looking at back then. Now, it shall still be the same. Sometimes, its good to keep an archive of your entries. At least you can look back at yourself and be reminded of it. Don’t believe it? Just scroll back to your first entry of your blog.
Cheers and happy Monday.
In the middle of last night, suddenly got sms coming in from the TogetherGather Committee member. He stated that he manage to get sponsorship to provide the program booklet. So, he need me to get all of the people who are coming to the party to come up with an article. An article with no more than 250 words about this party. Everyone must be special and different.
Since he was more senior than me, mah give him chance lor. Knowingly that I need to consolidate all of these articles by this weekend, the only solution I have on my mind was to go to every available blogs and post a comment regarding article submission. Fuiyoh, i tell you hor, luckily it is less than 100 people. If not, I’ll be die of hunger coz I work until 10.30pm visiting each and every blogs and commented there. Sampai terlupa makan malam.
Somemore this morning I was damn hectic and the wordpress doesn’t allow me to post a table listing all those attending the TGG party. Sienz. Luckily got one blogger damn free to consolidate and make it compatible in wordpress. Hence I am now able to present to all the list as below. In fact, you can go to any blogs and will find similarly the same. I just wanna to link them for the sake of linking…. :p
Convinced yet? Ehm… Even last night I kena bambu by some bloggers coz I asked them personally to work on the article. It’s not an option not to write the article. But it’s an option not to disclose your age.
Last but not least, we have the first submission on the article. Hopefully it is printed according the the first come first serve. See, he got to be the first. have to ask the sponsor “an chua”" eh sai bor?”
One more thing, Wingz says
“So put on your blogging cap and start writing!!! At least next time you can dig the book outta your storeroom and tell your chewdrens “See? See? Daddy last time got attend bloggers gathering wan!” LOL! “
I says
“Next time when you cannot dig the book from your storeroom, you can go to the national archive and found Wingz mia pihkures there… LOL! And who know that the book will be one of the reference book for the course title in university “101 How to be a blogger and how to blog”. Silap haribulan, they’ll quote ur article leh. Dun play play I tell u.”
