My 20cent of paid blogs

Site News 4 Comments

Getting paid for blogging isn’t that bad after all. First, we get to make money from it. And with money we bring in happiness. We bring more food to the table. Enough money to feed the people living under the same roof with me.

Many claims that the paid blogs are no longer interesting. They said that I had too much of payperpost that I ended up with no more readership. People no longer come to my blog to read my posts. All of the post seems crappy. I hear you not. I did. I still blog with passion. Just occassionally I had blog block. Seriously, wanting to do a few posts but ended up either procastinate or not much of time around.

Ask AhPek whom are suriving through blogs. He had a whole family to feed. Ask Lilian. She took up paid blogs for her time. Flexibility and able to spend more time with her kids. Ask me. I doing paid post for my gadgets fund. Everyone doing the paid post for money. But what is the money for? Money can buy everything. But money cannot buy time. Blogging can buy you some of the time. Away from the daily travel to office, punching your cards and work your asses off for the rest of 10 hours.

Looking at a bright side. As a Malaysian, we bring in money. Forex. Advertisers from all over the world. It’s a good sign for the country except that I myself also don’t know how the taxation and the income going to take place. :p

Recently I spoke to a blog friend of mine. He was asking about the payperpost I did recently. I told him that I was doing the paid posts with the help of konfucious. One of his remarks was that he still prefer the originality of the existence of blogs. Blogs that come from the passion to share. Share the tits and bits of one’s life. He intend to keep it that way.

Truly agree with his statement. I often think back that the purpose of the existence of my blog. I started with the passion of experimenting. And from there, planning to keep the part and parcel of my life, my memories and my mind in to the Internet. To kept by the WWW. Which will come back and haunt me when I least expect it. Someone might come to me and say “last time you never blog about it this way also.. you have changed”

Irregardless of what the people might view it, it’s just a blog after all. All I wanted is to blog for myself. A form of expression of myself…

Last but not least, last week he told me that he had signed up for paid posts program. He wanted to get extra income for his online gaming purpose. To buy an avatar I think. It is a good sign.

Fuck The World (2)

Back in almost 2 years back, I posted an image, work of a colleague. How nice and how cute is the ‘thang’

And after I deleted my previous nucleus, I realized I made a mistake. There are a plenty of stuff besides the text, I need to keep or doing backup. In fact, the recent images traffic that came to my blog was none other than this file name “20050625-ftw.jpg”. It was the image of “Fuck The World”. Didn’t know that there will be one of the favourite search in the google images.

The link that linking to that image was gone, so after the tedious job to find back the image, I finally found it. Here’s what they are looking for

Old Nucleus Gone

Site News 2 Comments

After the advise from Wingz that I might get penalized by search engine for duplicate content, I’ve decided to remove the old nucleus blog since the database is already converted into wordpress.

With the added statcounter, I notice that there are few visitors that dropped by to my site via the rss to hizecool.com/b directory. It just happened to me that I notice keywords that strike my curiosity. I was looking at this “what do i believe? what is faith?” – the keywords that leads to my blog. Did I ever blog something to ponder about faith? Curiously, I searched my blog and found the link – the topic. Its actually copy and paste from an email. It was dated way back in 2005.

An excerpt from “From Email”

My hope is that you live life defined by your own sense of possibility, your own sense of worth, your own sense of your soul. Define yourself for yourself, not by how others are going to define you and then stick to it. Find your own internal compass. I use the term compass, because what does a compass do? When the winds are howling, and the storm raging, and the sky is so cloudy you have nothing to navigate by, a compass tells you where true North is. And I think when you are in a lonely situation, you have to rely on that compass. Who am I? What do I believe? Do I believe I am doing the right thing for the right reason in the best way that I can? Sometimes, that’s all you have. And always, it will be enough.

Most people will judge you by what they see on the outside. Only you and God will know what’s on the inside. But at the end of your life, if people ask you what your greatest accomplishment was, my guess is, it will be something that happened inside you, that no one else ever saw, something that had nothing to do with outside success, and everything to do with how you decide to live in the world.

What you are today is God’s gift to you. What you make of yourself is your gift to God. He is waiting for that gift right now. Make it something extraordinary.

Let it serve to me as a reminder again, for what I was looking for and looking at back then. Now, it shall still be the same. Sometimes, its good to keep an archive of your entries. At least you can look back at yourself and be reminded of it. Don’t believe it? Just scroll back to your first entry of your blog.
Cheers and happy Monday.
