Silly High School

One of the incident I can remember vividly is that there is such term called thousand seven (in Cantonese ‘qing chat’). It actually means the “hair” if you wrote correctly in Chinese. Whenever comes the money issue, each of us have plenty of ‘thousand seven’
Ivan being brilliant really took a scissor from Bruce and snip some of his pubes to give us.

He started driving without license to school in form 5 and fetched me along the way. I have faith in him at that time not because of his driving skill but there is someone beside him. *grins.

Forgiving : We learn

Personal No Comments

School projects and the homework filled in the gap between me and Dan. When we were in form 3, computers, tuition and Kemahiran Hidup’s project were among things we share together with Kelvin and the rest of the gang.

I can still remember how he stood up for us in form 2 times. At that time, we keep writing things on the desk using the correction pen. One of the students in my class being caught red handed by a teacher. She sent him and all of us to the discipline teacher. Dan was brought forward somehow and being forced to name those who been writing on the desk. Mr. Hashiki (discipline teacher) slapped him a few times in order to force him to speak. He had to give in after a few horrid slaps on his face.

Fast forward into my late years of high school, we went to tuition together at Kasturi tuition centre. I can still remember how silly that all of us (including Shaun, Fatt Seng, Diong and Wilson) rushing to the city centre just for tuition at 2.30pm. Straight after 12.45pm from school to city centre. From chasing the bus outside the school to walking in fastest pace to reach the tuition centre in order to secure front seat, we been going through those shit. Whether it is neither rainy day nor bright sunny day, we still going strong and dedicated.

When we had to sit for the final examination (SPM) at that time, Dan, Yun Dic, Kum Seng, Chun Chuan and me went for another tuition centre just to learn Physics. Life at that time was good. He and I were really close. Things started to get better when playing Starcraft at cybercafe was a trend. Joining forces between Dan, Me and Kelvin versus anyone, we skipped a lot of tuition and spend hell a lot of money.

After high school, each of us has own path to be taken. Things got ugly when a friend of ours (Vincent) decided to post Dans photo on old site something like circles99. Dan saw it and demanded me to remove it. I was like since I am the founder, I have the rights to do so. However, since it was Vincent whom posted it, I need to get his agreement. The photo finally came down and Dan wasn’t happy about it when I reluctant earlier. I did mention to him that he can ask nicely and does not need to be so rude. That is when things between us got ugly.

From that on, we didn’talk to each other until few days ago when I met him. Things between him, Vincent and I have been gone ages ago. I learn to let bygone be bygone. He may have attitude to match but it is okay. Being friends, we need to bear with each other infirmities.

Ah-Dim-Kai-Whui-Kam-Eh’s Birthday

Personal 2 Comments

Happy Birthday to Eric Tan Khai How.

It came to my that today was his birthday and since I couldn’t get to him through SMS, I think it was appropriate for me to wish him here. IF and ONLY IF he did visit my blog. Btw, I was happy when Bruce came online and asked me whether IR pretty or not. It proves that he do read my blog although he keep complaining he is extremely busy with his assignments at university. *Thanks BruceBack to Eric. He is one of my coursemate throughout 4 years in TAR College. We been sharing a lot of ups and downs. My first impression about him is that he’s attracted to gals. Yes, not the other way round. I can still remember vividly the first time I know him. It was in the computer lab doing the C Programming assignment when I overheard his conversation with Chin Chin. He keep helping her and giving idea what student names to use. Since being a KPC me, I barge into their conversation and suggested a few Hong Kong celebrities names.

From there, we introduced to each other and then we become friends. During the final year, he begin to get close with one of the branches student (Penang). Most of our friends begin to realise that he started to keep a distance with us. He spend more time with her (She had a bf in Puchong and He had a gf whom studying in UM). We suspects something is going on between them. We tried to ask and he denied it.

Then there’s one time after a lecture lesson, we are heading for breakfast/lunch and my friend Vit Ping was going to get his car at the back entrance of the college. So, 4 of us headed to the direction. When we reached Vit Ping’s car, Eric told us that he’s not joining us. We were like.. “uh.. okay” and selamba get on the car. He was smiling at us and headed to Her Car. Yes, he drove her car. Sam was like asking us.. “Dim Kai Whui Kam Eh?” Vit Ping and I reply the same question back to Sam.. “Yalor, Dim Kai Whui Kam Eh?” From that moments, Eric was been given the nick “Ah Dim-Kai-Whui-Kam-Eh”

After college, he has been to Penang to work and currently return to Klang Valley. Last heard was he is currently working in DHL and been asking us for yum-cha. You know lar.. all the way to USJ? Unless he’s treating us. That’s different case.

Anyway, so much about Eric. He’s still a nice guy just having different way of doing things. By the way, best wishes from me and keep in touch.
