Murthy

He came in and share with us all about sex. Since it was all boy school, he openly share with us of the experience and story. One of the story was that he visited his friend and family. As he and his was busy chatting in the living room, suddenly his friend’s daughter stormed out from her room.

She was wearing pretty sexy and with very little cloth. Her father stopped her before she could reach the front door. Her father asked her to change to more conservative clothing. She reluctantly agree and walked back to her room. Murthy’s friend then turned his face towards Murthy and asked him, “did you saw my daughter just now?”. Murthy knew that his friend was testing him whether did he checked his daugher out or not. Murthy answered “huh?”

and the moral of the story according to him is that since all of us are testerone-based human, it’s common to check cun chicks but dun get caught easily. =) just as he shared the story, he quickly added “… dan begitulah caranya kita bersenam….”

we were like .. huh? wtf? and finally noticed a female teacher was standing at the door - covering the final slot of the relief that day. See. Flexibility and agility. ]]>

This reminds me of my testimonial to him in friendster not so long ago

daLe, Tuesday, December 16, 2003:
may i have the honor to post in ur
testimonials, ming wei?A lot of concern i may added here since
he’s a guy (smart, intelligent, nice,
stingy, kind and more to mention)
Been knowing him for more than five
years and i’m sure there are many more
memories i’ll gather with him in future.

Meanwhile, i’ll just mention the
previous stuff. Helpful coz’ he helped
me a lot in studies. Yup, during SPM,
without him, there’s no ME.

He taught me what is fast/speed. He
often ask ppl “fai lan di” means in
foul language {FAST}

Lately as time goes by, not much time
spend around with him as he’s
furthering his higher level education
in Aussie.

If u need help in any kind, Ming Wei is
willing to help or u can call him Lee,
Bruce Lee.

Setapakians Gathering 3rd Sept

Setapak High No Comments

It was a good get together. Manage to meet up with those long lost friends. Tong enlighten me again. He’s a man of wisdom. A man who carries “rotan” aka cane around to cane the playful, mischevious students. He was the one whom taught me P.Akuan from F4-F5. I managed to score well in that subject thanks to his guidance and teaching for the two years.

David is now in flight academy, Tony working for workshop instead as authorizer and Leroy as animation editor. William is in auditor firm while Foo Wah in helpdesk. Ganesh still studying for his dentistry while Daneev, i’m not so sure about it. Satheesh still jobless while Rashid is studying in MARA. Kee Suan helping his dad out in the sports shoplet inside Plaza Idaman. Kelvin as usual with his sales line and Ivan with lifelogger. Chi Hoe working as customer service for the cameras.

Tong promote and endorse more smokers. His reason? Since he is government servant, the more smokers will cause the price of the ciggies hiked up (but not as fast as the oil). It will provides more bonuses at the end of the year. Agree!!!

Sleepy. Later.]]>

Merdeka 57 to Vision 2020

Setapak High No Comments

In this month, I really wanted to share my thought about independence, my country and the society as well some incident that relate to it.

7 years ago, I took part in this competition called \’Choral Speaking\’. It was one of the main competition that my school highly look upon. It was a tradition for SMK Tinggi Setapak (aka Setapak High School). The main reason was that Mrs Singam was behind the Choral Speaking. She was the drive and inspiration for Choral Speaking. In 1997, we were able to secure 3rd place with funny script \’Night Market\’. The judges at the time I presume unable to appreciate good stuff like \’King Lear and his three daughter\’ or the \’Merdeka 57 to Vision 2020\’

It was a defeat that caught us by surprise. I can still remember vividly the times we spent practising. The struggle, the throat went sore, the fighting, the laughter and the \’konket\’. The beginning of \”Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka!\” pierces the silence of the hall followed by the narration from Kin Ming..\”the Tunku voice rings proud and clear in the Kuala Lumpur\’s brand new Merdeka Stadium\”. \”Pa, What does merdeka mean? Well, Merdeka means free son, free to rule ourselves\”…. There\’s also CHOGM,Chewing Gum or Bubble Gum? Oh no.. it\’s abbreviation for Commonwealth Heads of Governments Meeting. Let bygone be bygone. We lost to idiotic of BBGS.

In my humble opinion, Malaysia have grown tremendously. Thanks for each and every person\’s effort to make it a better place. For you and for me and the entire community. Yet, there\’s still room for improvement. Recent issues that well spread on the masses, it shows that we have taken for granted what brings us here in the first place. The dream of late Tunku Abdul Rahman trying to gain independence from the British, the fight and struggle …

It is the time for us to back to basics. For 48 years we have been independence. Do we? Seriously, are we really independence? Are the Bumis aware that the government can\’t keep on protecting them? Are the Chinese understnad that there are things more important than money? Can the Indians stop filling up the cells? Yes, we\’ve been independence for 48 years. Mentally, we are not. If we keep on condemning, complaining and critisizing, we won\’t be able to be independent. In fact, everyone knew how things work around here. The status quo and the money will be the main thing to make things work their way. Law enforcement. Yeah.. in fact, the \’gambling machine\’ aka \’horse machine - ma gei\’ is back into business. How about efficiency of the private sector hospital when come into picture with the public hospital?

Malaysia, I\’m still proud of you. Proud to be Malaysian. I don\’t want to see this sense of proud gone down the drain one day. Let\’s make it a haven to all. All of us can make it. There\’s still long way to go.

Happy Independence Day, Malaysia!!!

She taught me English and I would like to post some of her works.

Learning - a life-long processWhat one knows, can be laid on a platter,
What one doesn’t kbow, than even a mountain greater,
This is true, of not only you and your teacher,
But of everyone - except the Creator.

So, with grace and charm, let’s kindly pass,
Knowledge, we’ve managed to slowly amass,
To everyone, both foe and firend,
Cause learning’s a process that knows no end.

Your father, your mother, Your teachers and you,
Have lots to learn, believe me it’s true,
Not only today or tomorrow or the day after,
But as long as we’re alive - for that matter.

LISTENEducation is the foundation of success,
So study hard my dears.
Time and tide wait for no man,
So waste not these precious years.

Make hay while the sun shines,
Opportunities are there galore,
Then to cry over spilt milk,
You’ll not have to anymore.

Only empty vessels make the most sound,
So at all times retain your poise.
And rolling stone gather no moss,
Be not one, or great’ll be your loss in life.

I hope my dearsm that these lines of mine,
Will not ever become, pearls cast before swine.
Goodwill, and none else this advise will aspire.
Ignore it not if high goals in life you aspire.

Silly High School

One of the incident I can remember vividly is that there is such term called thousand seven (in Cantonese qing chat). It actually means the hair if you wrote correctly in Chinese. Whenever comes the money issue, each of us have plenty of thousand seven
Ivan being brilliant really took a scissor from Bruce and snip some of his pubes to give us.

He started driving without license to school in form 5 and fetched me along the way. I have faith in him at that time not because of his driving skill but there is someone beside him. *grins.

Forgiving : We learn

Setapak High No Comments

School projects and the homework filled in the gap between me and Dan. When we were in form 3, computers, tuition and Kemahiran Hidups project were among things we share together with Kelvin and the rest of the gang.

I can still remember how he stood up for us in form 2 times. At that time, we keep writing things on the desk using the correction pen. One of the students in my class being caught red handed by a teacher. She sent him and all of us to the discipline teacher. Dan was brought forward somehow and being forced to name those who been writing on the desk. Mr. Hashiki (discipline teacher) slapped him a few times in order to force him to speak. He had to give in after a few horrid slaps on his face.

Fast forward into my late years of high school, we went to tuition together at Kasturi tuition centre. I can still remember how silly that all of us (including Shaun, Fatt Seng, Diong and Wilson) rushing to the city centre just for tuition at 2.30pm. Straight after 12.45pm from school to city centre. From chasing the bus outside the school to walking in fastest pace to reach the tuition centre in order to secure front seat, we been going through those shit. Whether it is neither rainy day nor bright sunny day, we still going strong and dedicated.

When we had to sit for the final examination (SPM) at that time, Dan, Yun Dic, Kum Seng, Chun Chuan and me went for another tuition centre just to learn Physics. Life at that time was good. He and I were really close. Things started to get better when playing Starcraft at cybercaf was a trend. Joining forces between Dan, Me and Kelvin versus anyone, we skipped a lot of tuition and spend hell a lot of money.

After high school, each of us has own path to be taken. Things got ugly when a friend of ours (Vincent) decided to post Dans photo on old site something like circles99. Dan saw it and demanded me to remove it. I was like since I am the founder, I have the rights to do so. However, since it was Vincent whom posted it, I need to get his agreement. The photo finally came down and Dan wasnt happy about it when I reluctant earlier. I did mention to him that he can ask nicely and does not need to be so rude. That is when things between us got ugly.

From that on, we didnt talk to each other until few days ago when I met him. Things between him, Vincent and I have been gone ages ago. I learn to let bygone be bygone. He may have attitude to match but it is okay. Being friends, we need to bear with each other infirmities.
