It was a heart shattering moment as I slowly flipped the last few chapters of the book. My eyes hardly to contain the tears its accumulating. As the story unrevelled its own ending, and Marley’s death, somehow my heart ache and I goes all mellow. Reminds me of my good old dogs I once had.
This book I have come across so many times at the bookstore. Once I did asked dSaint whether did he read this book. The cute image of the puppy on the cover tempted me. Adorable.
The story begins with the life of Marley as a puppy and ends with death eventually. I do enjoy reading how does Marley weaved himself as part of Grogan’s life. A book that relates to all the dog owners. The simple joy of taking them on a stroll in the evening, the way they leap over toward you when you call them for their meal and simply just patting them which lazing on the couch watching the idiot box.
The book just makes me miss my dog so much. Thanks John for the walk down the memory again.
