My first ever chic lit. I would think so.
The story evolves around the London city. Everything is about the romance and how love affected everyone. The story does not evolve in the central character, Hughie but several that are inter-connected in a way or another.
At the end of the story, most of the outcome and result were fairly predictable how it ends. The story is easy to follow even when the author presented it in various perspective of different characters. Hence, it makes it me so indulge with the next page… and next.
One of my favourite part from the book is between Leticia and Sam. I believe there is a lot more for Kathleen to unravel their relationship. Whether their relationship can blossom into something more significant. Especially when Sam is beginning to treat her as part of his life long project.
Not sure if I will ventured more into the author’s works such as ‘Elegance’ or ‘Innocence’ but let just see how it goes.
